Id like to point out that the Hunter F1, with no bombs, no rockets and no CCIP, is 9.0 in ground,
Hunter FGA9 with roughly comprable (though overall less) A2G is 9.3
Gaijin added the Seperate BRs for air/ground just to shut people up, they’ve pretty much abandoned it,
if it were actually paying attention, the SAAB-105, MiG-15Bis ISh, A-1H, Strikemaster, Do-335B, Hunter F.58, Etc would be a higher BR,
and fighters would be a lower BR in ground, such as the F-86K, Lim-5, Saggitario, Hunter F.1, Javelin
or lower BR in air battles (A-7s primarily, most just went up in BR in ground like the Ayit or Yak-9K)
but there isn’t any movement there
Apparently the Hunter F.6 (UK) with only limited Dumb ordinance, No RWR, or Countermeasures, is Equal CAS to the Hunter F.58 with 2x Maverick-Bs, RWR and Countermeasures, while also being able to carry some HEAT rockets with that.
The Hunter F.58 is there with 2nd Gen Mavericks where most Nations only have MANPAD SPAA,and those that aren’t are quite poor systems (Rapier and no Damage, French Roland with extremely limited elevation, or the Chaparral which has a multitude of issues
Similar case with the Saab-105 and Javelin
Yak-15P and Strikemaster/A-1H
and its not even like the Saab-105, Strikemaster or A-1H are struggling Air to Air, even while laden

The system just isnt used for early jets and props at all

The Su-30MKI has about four different ARH missiles integrated on it (MICA-EM, R-77, Derby-ER and Astra Mk1) and many indegenious, israeli and russian guided air to ground weapons. So it does bring more weapons than the baseline Su-30SM in the russian tree

The hunter has been in the game for a long time though, splitting BRs on game mode is relatively new and gaijin said is a slow rollout, so a new place hopefully will come with it built in.
There is slow roll out and the glacial pace they have at the moment, Has a single (old) aircraft gotten split BRs since they were introduced a year ago?
Also, the Hunter F1s should have gone down to 8.7 a year ago when the Sabres did. If the HF-24 remains so low, then its just a further insult to the British aircraft that been struggling for years
I agree on the hunter and imo the venom should also have gone down, but I give up on asking for those things ha. I am just hopium that my new 8.x(?) jet will line up nicely with my Indian tanks and be fun in air RB still xD

Based upon initial stats and glimpses of its performance. If its any lower than 9.0 then I will be very annoyed because i’ve been asking for the Hunter F1 to go down for months and has thus far been ignored and this thing outperforms the Hunter F1

let all the other nations get at least 1 new top tier jet before asking for more stuff

I’m not asking for it, just pointing out that it’s a bit more flexible than the russian version. Avionics should be pretty much identical though (unless the RWR was changed, can’t remember). One thing to note however is that we dont have the Astra-1 in-game so that might be something.

Nor do we have ASRAAM, IRIS-T, AIM-120C5, Meteor, Brimstone 2, Brimstone 3, Spear 3, Storm Shadow, Taurus, etc, etc for the Typhoon. (Heck, we dont even have true Brimstone 1s yet, not that it actually ever used them)
There really is nothing that the Su30 could possibly add that the typhoon can’t already do and do better
Again fellas i’m not asking for it to be added in, I like the flankers being somewhat unique to only two nations. IMO gaijin bunged it up by making India a subtree for UK cause IAF and IN inventories are extremely diverse and will mess things up.
But wait a second, aren’t the Taurus and Storm Shadow cruise missiles? In that case Su-30MKI can carry the BrahMos which is supersonic compared to the other two.
(I wish more of my country could be represented without messing up the in game balance and stuff)

Yeah, India should be either its own nation with some subtree(s) to flesh it up, or a subtree of Israel. I’ve tested both and both allow pretty cool trees

I think a better plane might be the MiG-29K operated by the Navy, its supposed to be somewhat lighter than the 29UPG/SMT that IAF operates (no spine fuel tank modification) and with a larger wing area (45 m2 vs 38 m2).
It might not take away too much from the russian tree (the only other user of the type) cause most people dont play the fulcrums anymore from what i can tell and it’s not going to be meta defining anyway. Might even incentivise Gaijin to improve the MiG-29’s current FM issues
