Events can also be bad. Events are just things that happen.
Wars are events, catastrophes are events, crises are events, pandemics are events, etc.

What do you mean? As soon as a nation officially turns into a subtree all future vehicles of that nation go into the tree that hosts the subtree.

dont worry its vice versa too.

I fully back a BRICs tree to get their commie C&P out

The designer doesn’t matter.

Its nation of operation that does.

SA was just a waste of time, we basically got two years of nothing, or worse vehicles then actual British equivalents, out of the entire tree, the only thing worth talking about is the concept 3 and the 105 rooikats, there is a brit equivalent for quite literally everything else, its more a shame we didn’t get the class 3 p, for some reason Gaijin has gone on a full made up narrative with that one, as it was straight up built in a ship yard in SA and the main german contribution was the engine system. They have even gone as far to call it the H800, a completely different artillery vehicle that was never made.

Anything with as cockril 90 on it there is more then 20 british equivilents, we slapped it on literally everything for light export, there is like 3 different versions just on the warrior. The bigger complaint is the vehicles were all mid at best, is the ratel 20 still got like the 2x zoom for the milan, or did they finally fix that? The bigger issue is we basically got our tree dominated by ussually trash SA vehicles then got a chally once every three months XD

I see where youre coming from. theres a couple gems but it is majority trash.

Indian tree is currently ALL trash, I have little hope in the Kurt jet to change that

My feelings for the indian tree additions is that they just kind of exist, nothing is special, and the majority is soviet copy paste that i have no real interest in even touching, which seems to be the common theme, look how fast the vijayjay was removed from sale for reference. The only thing that i really played was the Bish, and its eh, just another slow mbt for the brits, something like the canadian leo 2 or the ozzie abrams would have been much more of a meaningful addition, as either would add a new flavour. Ironically literally every other oz vehicle in in the brit tree, some since the uk air was added and the oz abrams is the only one not in the tree.

The ZT3A2 and G6 are amazing as well

We currently have 18 SA ground vehicles (19 with the Class 3 (P), which is pretty good as well), out of those I’d consider 10 to be pretty good and 2 more of them (Ystervark and Bosvark) are regarded by many as the better SPAAs at their BRs.
The only SA vehicles I’d call trash are the SARCs and the Rooikat Mk.1D (which could actually be pretty good at a lower BR, tbh). The Ratel 90 isn’t great, but it’s ok at its BR.

oddly enough id call the SARCs quite good. mobile at a BR where people suck at shooting anything not moving (hence why the fox had a 70%winrate back at 6.7)

Rooikat is trash I agree.

it was good at 8.3, had a reason to play it, at 8.7 its just dead, there isn’t really a single reason bar armour (lol) and reverse speed to take it over the Vickers Mk.11

that or they could make spalling exist, feels like I’m firing APCR at times

Then why is Canadian Leo and Aussie Abrams not in the British tree? Design obviously does matter. It’s the same reason why Russian C and P shouldn’t go to Britain VIA India.

It seems more like an insult to the Indians having their unique vehicles dumped into the tech tree of a colonial power that invaded and occupied them for decades. Lets put Poland into the USSR tree and see how that goes down.

they need to at least give the Type 81 its ability to use its optical tracker to launch its IR missiles on IOG to an intercept point, it should have a 14km range in all aspect using that system, its just less reliable, same as firing an ARH then turning your radar off or going cold

Honestly it’s probably better that their stuff just goes in the tech tree, it’s got enough holes in it without locking stuff behind events.

Because Australia and Canada are not part of the British tree. When the operator nation is not in game as a tree/official sub tree, vehicles usually go to the nation that designed/made them.

And Australia + Canada would make way more sense than India being a subtree of the UK.

What makes sense doesn’t really matter anymore, because what’s done is done. India is an official sub tree for Britain while Australia and Canada aren’t, this is likely not going to change.

(although them not being a sub tree doesn’t mean we won’t see some of their vehicles in the british tree, it just means that their vehicles aren’t locked to the British tree.)
