Get the F-6C in the Lion of Peshawar Event!

A british firefly with sabot would be nice to have.

If only it was modeled right too :(

I’ve been looking forward to the Paki F-6C just for it to come missing 90% of what makes it unique

I’m hoping it’ll be fixed or we get the Paki Subtree for Air with a mid-late 90’s - 2002 model.

Hoping for JF-17 Block III, J-10CE (with all the paki armament to make it unique/worth adding), J-7PG, Mirage III ROSE, Mirage V ROSE, F-16AM (as a step up from and as an alternative to the Block 20 MLU), F-16 Block 52+ (As a step below and alternative to the eventual Block 70/72 we will get for Taiwan), the K-8 or K-8NG, and of course the Super Mushshak with its ordnance for the meme. (See below)

I don’t really play planes or naval, but when it comes to ground events, they’ve really fallen off. We either have copy-paste tanks like the Pakistani T-80UD, the T-72B3 Arena, the Bushmaster Slop, or wheeled things with a 105mm gun.

I regret not playing when Gaijin was so keen on running these events and had event tanks like the IS-7, Obj 279, KV-220, PT.16, etc.

quick question wasn’t it supposed to be an earthly event?

Not even PL-2 is available to use but an increase in battle rating without fixing anything was surely justified…I made a report to add the 57mm rocket pod for the Q-5s, I don’t expect anything out of it but at least the community actually tries to have things fixed.

Even if they are flares, I doubt he’d get them. They had trouble doubling the number of countermeasures on the J-15T due to the lack of ECM mechanics in the game, so they left it at 48 CM for BR 14.7, but the premium F-5C has 60 of them, even though there’s no evidence anywhere that it actually carried flares.

Are you putting equal sign between these two situations?

I just want to point out that the game is historically accurate regarding specifications only when it suits them; to this day, no one has proven that the F-5C was equipped with flares, yet somehow they were able to add them without the “not enough info” disclaimer, just as Gaijin Entertainment - Single Sign On often does.

Yes but IIRC it was only F-5C in US service that wasnt seen with those flare pods, but they were possible to install.

Entirely different matter to J-15T recieving entirely different CM setup which, to my knowledge, isnt possible.

Im not defending F-5C having flare pods but i dont think these issues are similiar.

“The other significant mods included AIM-9B/J/P, MM3 attitude indicator, Western altimeter in feet, UHF Radio, Gun Camera, ECCM mod, L/G beeper and IFF/SIF etc.”

I found another article like this, but it doesn’t mention traditional flares at all.

The tasks for the vehicles are not too bad IMO, it’s grinding the coupon if you want to sell it that’s the issue, you basically have to grind every task twice, compared to the old system where you just had to do 2 extra tasks (that also doubled as backups if you had to miss a day or two).
I have several event vehicles now that I would have sold but just couldn’t bring myself to sweat out the coupons.

So it turns out this aircraft was Gaijined (like recently the Me 210). It weighs the same as the J-6A even though it should weigh the same as the J-6 (MiG-19S). So it weighs 303 kg more than the MiG-19S (but doesn’t have the search radar). Empty weight can’t be bug reported as it’s only available through datamine so we are stuck with it. Gaijin is really getting lazy with copy pasting when different models of different aircraft are introduced. The latest example was the Me 210 which have the same empty weight no matter if equipped with DB 601 or the DB 605 engines. Again an unreportable issue and there really isn’t any excuse as it was a new aircraft type not previously in the game.

I found a thing

There’s our Napalm it is missing

Also found this so in addition to SNEB it can keep S-5

It could also carry 9B in addition to 9P as we know and as is shown below

As I understood it he forgot to charge the outer guns and that was the reason they fired separately. That story doesn’t imply that there’s a selector switch. In DCS there is no selector for firing the guns separately in the MiG-19.

tbh idk where this notion came up from, is there any source to this, id love to see

dunked…

Understood. I’m not particularly well versed in all the switches on the 19/J-6 so I’ll remove that section. Figured it was worth mentioning just in case it was applicable. Thanks for clarifying o7
