there is definitely something going on, stock mig19s has more thrust then stock j6/f6, but it seems like spaded they have about the same?
also statshark shows that 19s has better turn rate, on about 1 degree per sec
and j-6 matches 1:1 f-6
however, statshark is statshark, need to take it with a grain of salt
Calling it copy-paste is no different than calling the M4 Jumbo “copy-paste” of M3 Lee just because they’re derivative.

Looking at what was available or potentially in development for D-Day, I highly doubt we’ll get a 7.7 tank. And that’s fine, we need nice lower tier WWII stuff that’s interesting instead, ever since Gaijin decided that they weren’t going to focus on WWII or low tier anymore.

It isn’t technically copy/paste since it features a unique armament and drop tanks, but it isn’t exactly a super high effort one too.
Atleast it’s better than locking a more unique Pakistani plane to being an event.

That’s becasue the MiG-19S is slightly (~4%) lighter, not because of a difference in thrust
You can see (spaded) the thrust lines at speed an altitudes for the J-6A and MiG-19S are exactly the same

Fair point that it’s ‘not super high effort,’ but that’s exactly my issue. Unique drop tanks are basically gone 30 seconds into a match, and adding Sidewinders to an airframe without flares is a double-edged sword. It usually just inflates the BR, turning a classic jet into missile bait for 1970s tech.
I’d rather see actual unique additions than settle for ‘low effort’ variants of a frame we already have in four different flavors. At the end of the day, an event should be about earning something you can’t get anywhere else. Grinding for weeks for a 4th-hand MiG-19 feels more like a chore than a reward.

Well, i really disagree with people on this.
It’s not CP vehicle. The armament alone makes it no CP.
And thy picked especially the PAK one because is the one that carried western missiles and rockets , it can bring CMs (depends on how the GJ wants it though) and it had underbelly gondola fuel tank …CFT in modern language.
Those feats can make it different than what we have in game in how it plays and it’s even different from an Albanian F-6C for example or teh Chinese ones…
Anyway, to not like it or want something else instead is understandable. But it’s not CP or bad addition by any means…
It’s also not bad for a new player.
Now , will i grind it…?
It depends if it will have CMs (they can add them ) or not…and other BR.

if you can link the source for 3750kgf then we can bug report, but afaik the engines stayed the same in f6c through to its end

as for weaponary currently, it only gets 9p’s and russian/chinese unguided bombs/rockets, no snebs yet.
the cft is there
in the current state its just a j-6a with 9p’s, so pretty much a copy paste, identical fm, cockpit, etc, you just get drop tanks and 9p’s
but i still think its a nice addition, i like my mig 19’s.
