Get the F-6C in the Lion of Peshawar Event!

Real. The devs will never satisfy the community, the current status quo that they’re holding up is probably not easy to do but I’d say it’s acceptable.

Smaller tech trees need more tech tree vehicles.

Kids yearn for the grinds

Isn’t that the point of event vehicles? It’s a shame that the only way to obtain is: 1. playing the event; 2. buying the stars; 3. buying in the Marketplace. Sorry not sorry I’m more supportive of exclusively unique vehicles as form of event vehicles, it would be my problem if I missed out.

Yea, I think gajomb has become way too comfortable with event vehicles. I would’ve supported it if all of them were premiums, but they’re not. They don’t bring anything special rewards-wise as well.
Cheap FoMO and fanboy exploitation.

Just imagine for a second IF, for example, you would’ve been able to bring an event vehicle to a lineup of any country? That would changed the game completely and made every event vehicle actually worth the time. But I can only dream ofc.

that sounds like the sweatiest possible meta gaming you could ever see.

Impossible because that would break the logic of nations in War Thunder despite you can get said event vehicles by playing any nation in a specified gamemode but that doesn’t come to the case. Indeed the F-6C as a example of slighly unique vehicle because it’s a MiG-19 in this case a J-6A with AIM-9P air-to-air missiles is a noticeable improvement from the earlier PL-2 air-to-air missiles but I don’t think is really game changer, would be great as battle pass vehicle but it seems that’s a line Gaijin don’t cross (high battle rating battlepass rewards).

On one hand I agree.

On the other, some vehicles are unobtainable for new players even if they did nothing wrong but didnt start playing after the event.

Which could be easily fixed if there was a way to obtain them outside of gambling with SL lootboxes.

Im ultimately fine with the current setup as long as the event vehicle does not take away from the TT. The current F-6C is pretty good choice. It doesn take away from chinese TT but at the same time it adds something relatively unique, that being relatively unique equipment. I know many wont see it this way but im not trying to change anyones mind.

Right? This game wouldn’t grow anymore, so everyone who’s left are bound to be or become the said sweats, so why not? You also can freely choose the logic under which you would allow such a thing, because it’s fully made up after all.

I like playing nation with identity and learning their strong and weak points and playing around them.

There are million other games where I can be meta slaving.

I would actually say that we’re already long past this point. But maybe I’m missing something important. Now it’s more of a “singular vehicle capability” situation. Especially at top tier.
It’s not a proposal though. I just scraped it from the top of my brain as an example of a “unique” feature to make event scrap more valuable.

and the idea is make it worse by everyone having the possiblity to field the same meta defining vehicle in the same match, no matter the nation.

It would solve some problems and it would bring some new ones.
Hard to say if it would be positive or negative overall unfortunately.

The issue as i see it is that everyone would min max the hell out of their lineup.

say, event Leo 2A7 gets added. Everyone would field it, right, because why wouldnt you want to field extra 2A7 in your lineup no matter the country.

Issue is, its the only Leo 2A7 that is transferable between countries. Extra Leo 2A7 wouldnt do much for germany nor sweden. but for russian? now they have 2A7 on top of BVM, the new pantsir, Mi28NM and Kh38MT slingers. You just now removed the singular drawback of russian vehicles, that being inability to fight on uneven ground in the same capability as western tanks. except now all the other nations cant field new pantsir, Mi28NM or Kh38mt slingers.

Sounds awesome for russia, not so much for everyone else.

This event actually really frustrated me. I spent at least 150 in Air battles even pulling an all nighter on the last night. I ended uo finishing 30k points away from the upgrade coupon.

How is it reasonable in any way for that to be the expectation to spend so much time over the course of two weeks to get that coupon. I mean I’m not sure if my experience was common or not I think they need to add an extension onto the event or extend the future ones, because if i have to put in the same amount of hours as a full time job for the event, then thats beyond stupid. or at least something like finishing it with gold eagles like what was done for other events.

It’s just so frustrating to put in so much time for a vehicle i will never use in a nation i’ll never touch.

Uhhh you could have just ignored the event(? If you are saying you grinded for nothing for a vehicle you will never use on a nation you will never play then that sounds like a you problem no offense, i have a typical job and I know I don’t have time for events why would I even try to finish it

I work 8 hrs a day plus have extracurricular hobbies(but no kids anymore :)) and did it easily enough with 95% Tier 3 line ups - just 1 or 2 games with Tier 5 and 6

Would also be stupidly overpowered lol.

Forgive me, I may not have explained myself very well. The reason why I grinded for it is to get the vehicle and then the coupon to sell it on marketplace. i was 30k away from the coupon to sell it. Hence why part of the fustration is now having this vehicle i’ll never use
