Oh yeah aboslutely. I am looking forward to the aircraft.

I commented towards what il signor said

To be fair its kinda useless on the Su-24 since you cant lock onto anything. its just search but no track

Text edited, missile name changed to:

all-aspect AIM-9L Sidewinder air-to-air missiles

Hopefully we’ll get some clarification on the Penguins locking system today

Is this now final?
Because we went from:
9L → 9L/I → 9L
Maybe from 9L → 9G?

Please note that this vehicle’s characteristics may be changed before it is added to the game.

Maybe

Love the f5 but pass on most events cause 2 days isn’t enough for some people who cant play for hours on end every day

Because it’s now Monday, devs are catching up on things and unclassified documents I shared earlier in the thread directly state the Penguins seeker will only lock ships.
The only way you can fire this at a tank is through the emergency manual control.

well we talk about Gaijin…

meanwhile the GCS-1 for japan CAN track tanks however gaijin denies it,

if the norway F-5 can get a F-5A that has a anti ship missile that can magically choose violence against tanks, then they should add GCS-1 to japan it’s already in the files all functional and modelled

Currently Penguins are useless. they lock on surface from 50km but only will track units from ~~2500m and with low FOV means it will never hit a moving target when launched significantly above that

why stop there.
AIM-9J?

For this missile to work it needs the ARH code for it to be able to pick its own target and follow it

It does as a fact use Aim 9J, well it did in 1977 before the latest update (wich this is)

*It was in the files

Please don’t give them ideas.

I think it should be able to use Aim 9E & N as well if i remember correctly, trying to find sources

I mean at that point just copy paste the F-5C.
