We have no idea what BR it is, and considering its the weakest F5 chassis being added, it could very well end up as a missile barge with only 2 missile at 12.3

12.3 is pretty much the only place it can go, the JH-7A is 12.3 with a worse fm and 4 9L equivalents

Depends, we’re talking a heavier F5A with no radar, poor RWR iirc(ill need to recheck some sources) also no internal CM’s has to use CM pods and possibly only 2 missiles. If anything it’ll be a sidegrade

Again its nice to see more Norwegian stuff but honestly I’d rather have seen the Norwegian F16 with 3x penguin since it could actually give sweden a good 13.7 or 13.3

It would make sense, but the Thai F-5 has regular Ls and Python 3 at 11.3 so wouldn’t surprise me for a Swedish nation tree jet to be under tiered.

The Kürassier is the only Austrian tech tree vehicle in the game so far. And it makes no sense that it is in the French tech tree. It should be in the German tree and France should have gotten a north African variant instead.
And the M47 is not Austrian.

This F-5A(G) “Tiger 2” (Tiger 1 being another plane with only its front painted in tiger
stripes) and it was painted with tiger stripes and a tiger emblem in 1997 and was then voted as the best tiger-painted aircraft at the Royal International Tattoo that same year. This aircraft was the flagship of 336 Squadron.

F-5 with IRCCM will be… interesting. There’s a very fine line between completely busted and nearly useless for an aircraft with such (relatively) poor flight performance and powerful armament.
Though maybe this means we can finally get some more IRCCM 3rd gens that have been missing for ages? The F-4F ICE-LA, M346/Yak-130, maybe finally Tornado GR.4 equivalents for Italy and Germany?

I’ll give you the undertiered comment is more of fighting Swedish ground than air. Ikv 91 comes to mind, but back on topic.
The lack of decompression has power crept a lot of aircraft. Longer they’re in the game more likely they will face aircraft it never should see. There’s already people arguing the performance of the engines is reason it should be lower BR. Its less likely to be overtiered than undertiered, especially as its going to a minor nation.
This is by far incorrect. There are a lot of countries that buy exported military equipment as they dont do a lot of building of their own. I dont understand how people think there are 1,000 of unique military vehicles that can be added to the game. Most modern tech is export variants from just a few countries.

(Ikv 91? Yeah maybe if the OF 40 with armor and the same gun as the leo 1 and if it didn’t have a rangefinder but yeah sure we can pretend that the IKV is still 6.7 and not at the same BR as other vehicles like the OF 40 at 8.0 so your argument of the ikv fall flat imo.)
Regardless what swedish jets are undertiered? So far the track record for sweden air has been preety bad, the only reason i could see this thing coming in below 12.0 is because gaijin wants people to buy a vehicle that isnt DOA, considering all the negatives this vehicle has i cant see it being Meta unless its placed at 11.3 if at 11.7 it would be good in a downtier and worthless in an uptier, it will probably be a better fighter for CAP in GRB.

Otherwise, this is a very interesting plane, that could be quite good or quite bad depending on where gaijin thinks it should be.
