This is enough to give AIM-120s but rack integration and actual presence of serial production missiles isn’t enough for F-14D to have huh

the F-16XL’s amraams were mock-ups bolted into the airframe (it didn’t even have proper hard points for them)

Yet again I am talking about the claim for the F20 you can split hairs all day what I was talking about is something completely different.
A2A armament seems more like 13.0 material (6x ARH is standard for 13.3 except the Kfir C.10). Flight performance is going to be hard to estimate. Since this is the XL#1, TWR is going to be pretty bad for a fourth-gen fighter, so acceleration and climb probably won’t be stellar. But L/D is allegedly quite good, especially supersonic, so energy retention may be better than the F-16A. We’ll have to see how devs model it, but I suspect if placed at 13.3 it definitely won’t be the best in the BR.

Guess they think we don’t need them because of there top teir premium planes instead and they think nobody won’t cear unless it’s Russian

If F16XL can get AMRAAMs despite bein cancelled earlier than F-20 so does F-20 can.
Not to mention XL wasn’t even equipped with countermeasures so it becomes even more funny.
Anyway im happy with XL coming to the game, F-20 can stay where it is.

It can but why would you want to make it worse? You increase its capability by decreasing potential in actual battle.
12.3 is basically 13.0-13.3 territory on these days in case you dont know.
F-20’s FM is amazing and radar performance is good enough to use AMRAAMs.
I also prefer to fight against jets that can actually challenge me, not some hopeless F4S in same br.
