I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we’re probably not going to get a TT F-106. It’s gonna be the same situation as the F11F-1 and F4D-1.

I would like to see the falcon added to the f4 also just because I like variety or even add the f101 voodoo not that I’m not happy with the f106 I don’t want to sound ungrateful
Of all the f106s this actually is a great event one. I just don’t know why we haven’t gotten the earlier models in the tech tree yet.

I don’t think the F-102 would be viable as a TT aircraft. F-106 actually kinda is, because it can carry a gun. F-102 only had Falcons and unguided rockets, no gun (unless you count the possibly tested M134 gunpod). Add all that to the fact it had relatively poor performance, and it just doesn’t make sense.
A single-seater Voodoo, however (such as the F-101A or F-101C) could absolutely be in the TT, though.
it was worth it, stupid amount of BackUps and alot of Blindhunt and avenger orders

The only “earlier model” simply didn’t have a gun, making it a much less effective and more impractical aircraft, being entirely reliant on unreliable missiles

Why would that exclude it? Pretty much all top tier aircraft rely on missiles exclusively, this would just bring that playstyle to a lower BR.

Fighters without canons are usually Premiums or event vehicles (F-89D, Jaguar IS, etc). I’m pretty sure the reason is due to their stock grind not really being suitable for a tech tree? Although im not sure if that’s the actual official reason/rule.

Jaguar IS does have a gun, the only gunless fighters that i can name are the F-89D (as you mentioned) and the Sea Vixen, all others have gunpod options

No, I don’t think they’re going to add the nuclear armed version at least
26B (conventional) could be alright but it’s a shame they won’t let the Six have anything fun.
Super falcon is supposed to be/supposedly Mach 3 so hopefully it’s fun

I think it’ll be a good aircraft, maybe even great, but the Vulcan equipped 106 really should be the tt version and a more niche missile only one should have been the event

Keep in mind that usually, top rank aircraft still carry either a 20/23/27/30mm gunpod or built-in cannon as a backup for when you run out of missiles. On top of that, higher rank missiles are much higher performance than the early Falcons.
