Get the F-106A “Six Shooter” in the Sky Guard Event!

your math is flawed and doesn’t count the score multipliers for rank and mode
also

do you really get a single kill (on average) in a whole 10 minute match? no ground targets? no bases?

I had a very easy time yesterday. Air Sim is full of tourists from other modes coming to abuse the score multipliers. LOTS of easy kills.

I only play Air Realistic during events. Normally, I prefer Air Arcade, but it takes too much effort to get a good score there.

I hadn’t played Air Realistic for a few months, and this was my first battle after the break:

I got 1 player kill (strike aircraft going for our base, easy target), 1 assist, and 3 AI plane kills. Then I died, ending up with a score of 1883. It was an uptiered 8.7 BR battle, while my plane was 8.0 BR. In Air Realistic, with a rank 5 plane, the multiplier is 1.4, so my total event progress from that battle was 2636. It took me just 6 minutes to get that score.

To get similar event progress in Air Arcade, I need a battle like this:

With 13 kills and 2 assists, my event progression score was 2647 (since Air Arcade has a 1.0 event score multiplier). It took me 13 minutes to achieve this.

This is why I don’t play Air Arcade with fighters during events. You can get better scores by using bombers, but that’s a bit more complicated - you need to know how to play them effectively, and it’s still heavily luck-based.

I really think Air events in Air Realistic are fairly easy to complete. You just need to use good planes and focus on getting points with the least risk possible - attack AI units, go after easy player targets like bombers and most strike aircraft, and try to avoid strong enemy fighters. In my opinion, it’s really not that hard to do in Air Realistic.

I didn’t keep track of how long it takes me to complete the 35k score requirement in Air Realistic - it should be less than 2 hours. But most importantly, it’s a fairly easy playstyle where I don’t need hundreds of kills like in Air Arcade.

So @Smin1080p_WT, about the “no extra score points for premium vehicles”
Clear…i don’t want to say lie, but still
F-4EJ ADTW has 6.6 multiplier for bases and gets 908 points for 0.327 tons of TNT in FFARs which roughly translates to about 2800 points per ton

F-4EJ has 5.5 multiplier for bases and gets 740 points for 0.32 tons of TNT in FFARs which roughly translates to about 2300 points per ton
image
image
6.6/5.5=1.2
2800/2300=1.21
20% difference in multiplier and 20% difference in earned score points
It’s the same plane but with different camo. Same armament, same BR, same flight performance
Premium version gets more score points for the same action and can complete current events FASTER
And it’s not the only example

My whole point is that it doesn’t really matters because if I fly something I like then iam gonna do better and gain a higher score faster

I’m not a content creator, sweatlord or no-lifer. For Rank VI I use fighters with IR missiles. No chance for bases since there are F-4s and F-104s that get there first. Each team has between 32 and 64 air to air missiles for 16 targets. I did get lucky last night and got 3 in one match but that only happened once in the 16 matches I played.

For Arcade Rank III I can get about 2000 points if I really work at it but since I only get 80% of the earnings it isn’t worth it.

It took 2.5 hours for me yesterday to get about 17,800 points while trying to finish BattlePass tasks as well. So if my average holds it will be another 2.5 hours to get to 35k, so that’s a total of 5 hours for 35k points. Too much grind. The stompy robots game gives a free mech you can earn in about 2 matches or less, so it takes less than 30 minutes.

Have you been trying using rank 3~4 vehicles? Do 217, B 25, Tu 2?
They are fast enough for a quick base run, they will grant you ~500 points per very quick game (more if you damage enemy players, attack ground).
1~2 hours per day and you should have the required score no sweat (just boring).

I would also add the B7A2, quite quick, decent payload, can retaliate against fighters well and can use it’s forward armaments and high altitude spawn to intercept opposing bombers.

I try with the Wyvern, unfortunately you spawn with 3 or 4 other Wyverns so there aren’t enough targets to go around. I have a maxxed B-25J but that is only Rank II so it isn’t worth bringing out.

Yes, but only if the opposing team has bombers. Lately there are very few its mostly strike or fighters.

With Wyvern dont go base bombing, instead do headons with enemy. Even faster score.
And while doing it grind yourself a Hornet Mk 3; with it you have guaranteed overabnudance of Ju 288 C to shot down.

I strafe. So do all the other Wyverns. I got one air kill and 13 ground targets for 1,123 score. Since its only 90% I got 1,010 points. Add the multiplier and I get around 1,414.98 (I don’t know if Gaijin rounds up to 1,415 but probably not). That’s about 24 games to get to 35k, at 10 minutes each that’s 4 hours minimum, assuming I (or another player) gets those results every single game.

Your choice. You have been given recipies for success. Use it or not.

The recipes require more baking time than indicated for an average player, and there are too many dynamic ingredients to provide consistent results.

A single headon frag with Wyvern requires little skill, takes ~5 minutes start to end, and grants ~1000 points.
40 games and you are done. 20 games per day.

More baking time would be ‘take off and get your self killed’. Its 100+ points per game what equals 300+ games. XD

since you edited.

as I said, 2 hours a day.

In test flight you don’t get fully upgraded vehicle unless it’s a premium iirc even if you choose not the “current” state
So you testet it in it’s stock config

not anymore

no you don’t anything you are test driving is Spaded by default, as shown by the “Reference” setting,

If you select “Current” it is the performance of the Vehicle, for unresearched vehicles this is fully stock, which also goes for all non-premiums, while premiums, (except some low tier ones) are spaded by default, they will be in the spaded condition (unless you manually go and turn modifications off in the menu if you have it purchased)

You just don’t get the full weapons loadout.

Oh, guess they fixed it. Somehow I still thought that “reference” gave you full-stock plane while saying the opposite
