So if I decide to grind for the market coupon upgrade and there is another glitch like in the Battle Pass last week and some players get 700,000 points with no actual effort, I will be disadvantaged again?

Event is based on points earnt over staggered stages. Highly doubt there’ll be any bug on this one. And grinding the coupon imo isn’t worth it. It’s basically a poor man’s bmd, and even that only goes for 60

I love how Gaijin seems to not know what content is in their own game exactly so when they add new stuff they try to pretend to know, like ‘fast amphibious vehicle! for all of those… amphibious… operation… maps?’… While in reality this will just be a giant target with a door knocker gun that will serve nothing except be a free kill and then rot in the hanger for the rest of the game’s life.
( They do this all the time with useless or broken and unfitting additions. Like the recent SAM systems, it is as if whoever had the idea, then modeled, tested and green lit the addition never played a single match and just got a vague description of what the game is once)

More junk in the marathon, but there could have been something better: ZBL-08, ZBD-05, ZBD-03, ZBD-86A, BMD with the B05YA01 combat module, and many other cool amphibious vehicles. Other countries have them; the US isn’t the only one who loves to swim in the sea. P.S. Developers, give all amphibious vehicles the opportunity to swim in naval battles. I wonder if the BR will be 9.3 or if the developer will immediately give it 9.7 and 10.0 since it has an Abrams engine.

Honestly I dont know how far into the ocean you can traverse on this map; ex.: Vietnam does not allow you to get close to the water, you get return to battle pop up while still on the beach.
Lake on Poland map is probably the biggest body of water that gives you the opportunity to use this vehicle to actually surprise the opponent.
The only map I can recall where amphibious tactic could be used is Port Noworowo(…), but it was removed ages ago and is no longer in rotation.

Russia and China have the most amphibious vehicles in the game, they don’t need more. Other nations like the USA, Germany, Britain for example need more amphibious vehicles. And Britain IIRC has the least number of amphibious vehicles in the game, but we knew ahead of time that the current ground event vehicle will be a US vehicle.
This seems like a fun vehicle in a massive custom battle, wonder if Gaijin will let us spawn them on the water as boats…

I am honestly torn between getting it as a collectable even if I’ll never use it, or grinding the coupon to sell it at some point. Since it’s ground I think I’ll mostly get the points anyway
