I wonder if when it gets BR 12.3, it will get something more powerful than the very average AIM-9L. With the current matchmaking compression, we will often face a sea of Foxes three.
So, supporters of gaijin justification for such an event when?

Lovely to see that not only the Battlepass is getting neglected but also 45k events…
At this point just don’t do events anymore and just make them 90$ premiums
In case some of you were wondering what EASY COPY PASTE ALTERNATIVE existed, here’s one:
Mirage MF2000 in Moroccan service.
It has assets that can be re-used for it such as…
- Mirage F1 airframe
- 2x MICA EM missile
- 2x Magic 2 missiles
- AASM air to ground missiles
- Damocles targeting pod
And would have been a unique easy and fun copy and paste addition mixing some of the already existing in-game assets.

Event could have been renamed but oh well yeah.
Technically, the Mirage F1 could be considered the “workhorse” of the French army, since it served for a long time and fulfilled almost every role.

Does the block 5 differ in any way flight model wise from the block 10?
I would have liked to see a modern M2K instead of this tbh.

With so many unique things to choose from on the forum for an event, they always pick the simplest and cheapest option. gaijin being a gaijin.

Certainly unexpected, I’m kinda excited to have this vehicle and fill my line-up in the French tech tree. However, being New Year of The Horse a chinese vehicle could be more fitting the Chengdu J-9 or any of these mid-Cold War chinese obscure prototypes. Gaijin being Gaijin whatever is easier is better, so just add a new camouflage to the airplane and call it a day, I’m sincerly surprised that no one really moved a lot of people in favor of better event vehicles.
