Been doing sim. Can finish in 2-3 matches as long as the other team doesnt all bail the second i do PvP
I go high mirage 2000s, usually finish in 2-3hours without having to put too much brain cells in the grind
Wish I had VR goggles for sim, the camera movements are too janky, like I’ve done head camera movements before in other sims and they’re fine using the extra buttons on the joystick, but in WT? Nah that its just straight jank. At least I have a joystick tho. Because of that I usually just base bombed when I was flying in Sim for a few hours.
It be like that. Its why I like the Hunter F.6: Side climb, launch SRAAMs up people’s tailpipes from top down. I did two stages this way already when I didn’t feel like doing serious grinding lol
11 matches so far in it, 2 ace kill games, 4 quadra kill games and 4 games where it was a double kill. I had one match with only one kill because I was out of position and ended up killing a Mig-23 in a headon. Those 30mm Adens are potent now after the update.

This is one of the worst grinds going, 90% of the games I’ve had so far have been in enough of an uptier I’m facing fox-3 slinging devils
It’s honestly too high in br for what it gets as a final loadout and it faces too, this is an abysmal grind if not the worst I’ve done so far and I’m a GB main too
Come on man, why is this 12.7 in SIM? Same BR as the Belgian tech-tree F-16 which has 9M and the OCU which has 9M, Magic2 AND TWS radar (which is a huge deal in sim).
You can’t have just 9L without TWS at 12.7, that’s just so sad.
I got the event F-16A yesterday and have researched 10 modules so far. But I still have problems with it to do just about anything.
My team usually contains several event F-16A, often in massive uptiers, nearly all remain without kill, same as me.
I can’t reach bases, my missiles are flared easily.
Not sure what the trick is with this one? What is a good strategy for it?

Unfortunately it’s not a very good plane in the radar missile meta. You need to ambush people to have a chance of getting kills. If you’re confident in notching you can sometimes surprise people by coming from above, but it’s somewhat unreliable.

I had a few good games following your advice and could add 3 more modules. My last game added 2, which is a waste, as there are only 3 modules left now for the last prize of the event.

u know u could just switch to a lower br in arcade mode when you get tired of using the jets. as long as you either got a rank III or event vehicle that you get score with rest of the score from the other vehicles will count.

I meant the planes modifications is one of the worst grinds going, the br placement makes it really crappy, thought that was clear in what I was saying tbh.
I’d finished the marks of distinction off easily, they take me 2 hours each
But that is structural to the MM atm. Because everyone grinds the plane NOW.
I am using premium time and I had the plane spaded with the drop of the 4-mods box. I even only needed 3 of the 4 mods by then, cause I already had all but 3.
It is a rank VII and it takes a day. And I am surely not a good pilot in RB.
Yeah I spaded it by yesterday afternoon too.
Not quite sure what the point you’re trying to make to me is is tbh mate, I merely commented how crappy a grid it is and said why.
My point was, the module grind is a structural problem:
One team is full with stock F-16A in an uptier, the other team is full of BR 13 premiums.
And you get the most expensive modules for “free” through the event.
Weird one that because that’s not been my experience at all, what I’ve found is I have at most 2-3 f16 event vehicles on a team and the rest are uptier to 13.3 planes all the way in 90% of matches, I’ve yet to have a match with more than 5 event f16 in 50ish games too.
It’s getting sucked up so much because of the insane abundance of people playing fhe su30mkk/amv or f14iriaf grinding the event out but given the abundance of that su30 I suspect it’ll carry on very similarly after the event is over too
Also the teams I’m getting put on are diabolical, I’m nothing special at all, average at best but 28% win rate is abysmal and I’d expect a little bit better tbh
3-5 near stock planes in an uptier will do the trick very reliably. Don’t expect a win.
I think you’ve possibly entirely missed the point being made originally that ultimately 12.3 is an abysmal and poor placement br for this plane, 11.7 is most certainly where it should be sitting . Granted I probably said that originally in a bit of a convoluted way.
It’s much less to do with poor teams and more that it’s forced to really really struggle in near constant uptiers against planes that outperform it in every single way that leaves no balance, whether there’s just the one o the team or a team of 16.
It’s exactly as most predicted before the event began, it’s a pointless plane at a br that just makes it needless suffering, when there’s the squadron f16 at 12.7 that faces the same matchmaker in the main and has a significantly better loadout and chance in what it faces
It’s redundant and badly placed and just a struggle bus currently and needlessly so too from a players perspective. It shouldn’t be doing so badly at all.

lucky guy you took the 2 modifications that cost 39k rp, i got 1 ( exept if you had done evrythink else and thats why it give you only 3 modifications
