I was unaware of that. I was working off incorrect information. Thanks for explaining. Still 75kmh on an unpaved surface is plenty good.
Besides it’s slower than the CT-CV105HP, performance matches pretty close to the CT-CV just worse overall than the CT
Few maps will let you get to that speed, besides you’re still slower than BMDs or BMP on most conventional maps let alone literally every other wheeled vehicle is faster than you.
After using the same route and A/B testing it I just got the CT-CV to 94kmh and the AMV to 87kmh.
Acceleration and top speed of the AMV is worse. These tests were performed without enemy opponents. I do think this will be really decent at 9.3BR.
BMD-4M on the same route topped out at 70kmh
Top speed won’t matter as much for a lot of conventional maps with a lot of turns in areas like this, the BMP will be generally better because of its mobility, tracked vehicles have always been better than wheeled vehicles in most city maps. Don’t see why this would be any different
There are still a fair number of large open maps where speed is useful. Fields of Poland, Maginot Line, Darwin Hill.
Better competitively =/= More fun
And I didn’t mention fun, objectively it’s a worse BMP-3 anyone can enjoy anything
It being a worse bmp-3 doesn’t make it a bad vehicle or a bad addition to Swedish 9.3 line up. I think it will be quite useful.
If anything Badger users should be the most upset by this development currently. That thing shouldn’t be 9.0. I also think the CT-CV needs to be moved down with the reload change.
Nahh the Boxer and the Hirimau should go 10.0 and the 2S25M at 10.3
Does that mean the CT-CV gets DM63 like they do? Or are we just putting better vehicles at the same BR, no dual control with the commander on the CT-CV either.
did it had it historically? anyway the 2S25M is in no world a 10.0 tank speially when the Boxer or the Hirimau are 10.3
If we go by historical then we need to remove ammo from a lot of vehicles.
No it is able to be used though, you can’t argue historical if you aren’t gonna hold every other vehicle to the same standard
ok then, but still is DM63 that big of an upgrade? as far as i remeber the DM33 is also very good
Anyway Gaijin is there even a reason of buying this until it gets fixed?

Well I mean the CT has no commander takeover is slower and less armored while also having less pen overall. It’s a worse vehicle in general as for the DM63 flat pen isn’t that big but when you’re fighting T-80s you want all the angle pen and pen at distance you can. DM33 is alright but any buff will be appreciated versus having superior vehicles get pushed at the same BR as you while being inferior in every way.
As for the F86 missiles add .3 to the vehicles BR, sometimes more depending on the chassis, I’d say just wait until it gets changed like I am with the J35J being 10.7 in sim the same BR as the F4E while the J35XS with flares is 10.3
I had to wait when the XS was first pushed down to 10.3 the J35D was still at 10.7 in RB and SIM for a few weeks then SIM took 6 months lol
exactly it should be 8.3 and 9.0 at sim but its 9.0 and 9.3 currently, i have to keep my urge from buying it no matter how bad it is (i couldn’t keep myself from the F-102)
The urge to not play a mainline vehicle is easy, I just skip the swedish air tree in general and play like 2 vehicles same for ground.
If a vehicle isn’t fun just don’t play it. If you plan on spading everything for the sake of spading then do other stuff while you wait for something to change.
but i cant skip Greek air, thats my problem if i buy it now i will not have enough sl for the 2HEL…
Then farm more SL, and it’s not like a permanent skip, your just waiting for something to change
