Most detailed photo of a Mackensen class battlecruiser. The ship on lower left: SMS Prinz Eitel-Friedrich, third ship of the Mackensen class, after construction was aborted. Alongside unfinished Bayern-class BB Würtemberg. Nice size comparison.

not that understandable, when you look at how selective this approach is. When Gaijin cares about “negative connotation for some players” i could bring up a recent premium tank as an example, but there is no point to it…at this point i think we all know.

Its somewhat understandable. The Totenkopf as an accessory on the front of a hat is problematic.
They should have changed it to an Iron Cross or Mackensens coat of arms to keep the iconic hussar hat imo.
