General Motors Company M35A1 (M45): The gun truck from ‘Nam

Not on the m45 mount

That wouldn’t matter. Ammunition is a balancing decision that gaijin decides. As long as the gun is compatible with the ammunition, then it’s a possibility.

I’m pretty sure that only works if it actually used said weaponry… but whatever

What makes you so sure about that?

It only applies if a vehicle used a weapon, as far as anyone knows the m45 mounts were never supplied with slap rounds because they were already outdated during Vietnam, they were used just because they were available.

Read my previous post.

It does matter, those are the actual rules afaik, they can omit ammo not add it. unless it’s historical, in this case slap rounds were not historically used, none of these trucks were even authorized to be created, there would be zero reason for them to have received slap rounds.

Also quick fact check, slap rounds weren’t sent to Vietnam because they didn’t exist yet, created in the 80’s for the .50

My bad, I was unsure about the date they were tested. Seems like it was a fair few years after Vietnam.

But, as for if something used an ammunition type or not, as long as the gun is compatible they can receive the ammunition. For example, the Strv m/31 uses APDS that it never used. It’s all up to gaijin if they want to balance it in some certain way.

If you are looking for a Gun Truck that could use spicy ammo the Iraq war had some.

Could also be good for infantry mode.
