Only 5 of the 33 new vehicles being added in Major Update Seek & Destroy will be from World War II. Gaijin has no intention of listening to you, my friend.
I hold my money but Gaijin doesn’t give me the chance, what a nice dealer.
Speaking off, most battlepass stuff is ww2/coldwar most of these vehicles could be awesome TT vehicles or regular premiums. Instead they are locked behind a grindwall or a paywall with a steep price
Im thinking of the J9 early lord that would have been awesome
I’d prefer a large update focused on expanding rank 1-4 than another rank 8 only copypaste update.
Ehh I would say around ten machines out of the thirty three of them, Although four of them are post war (surprisingly two captured machines for France if I have this right) but all four were started building or built during the war, And one immediately pre war (1939 refit) yet these are all close to WWII an can be counted as such.
Hard even for gaijin to justify a 70$ price tag on wwii br vehicles so they stick to modern
yeah, those are good little fighters . … could carry a bit more ammo, but since I play AB, just a matter of waiting . . .lol. But that’s also a skill you develop playing AB, learning how to time your reloads. Fun planes, good dogfighters . . . hope you can get the ones you want before too long.
Meh, we don’t really know the player base’s spending habits, so hard to say really. It’s clear the marketing has been for the modern high tier stuff for about 3 years or so now. It’s a business, so “stocking the shelves” with the merchandise that sells better/faster is not an uncommon practice. It would seem there is a “niche’ market” for some of the older, more “vintage” vehicles, but we would need to convince Gaijin of this somehow. I play what I enjoy the most, and I have more vehicles than I can play anyway, so my “numbers” reflect the use of mid-tier & mid to late WW II vehicles more than anything. But I also already own almost all that kinda stuff, so I can’t buy anything to show that there is indeed interest still out there. Kind of a Catch-22 in my case. And as long as the majority of newer players are dead set on “speed grinding” their way to top tier, skipping over as many vehicles as they cant to get to the top &playing a lot less nations than was the norm in the past, the numbers may not justify many of our wishes shown here . . . just how it is . . .
Being a business, it’s always been a “numbers game” . . . C’est la Vie.
Pretty much
How many B26 have you seen in battle though?
The B-26 (I’m assuming you’re talking about the bomber) is actually pretty good for its BR.
It is but I’ve barely seen any of them flown out
Because it’s BR is horrible, and Gaijin nerf these bombers over and over again.
Gaijin:
Nerfs bombers because they are too effective
Buffs bombers because they are too weak
Nerfs rewards because bombers are doing too good
Nerfs bombers more because premium bombers are doing too good
Add top tier premium planes that are mainly used for bombing
Nerf bombing rewards because players are grinding too quickly
Players switch to rocket rushing so base rocket damage rewards are nerfed
(Unrelated) Players somehow manage to crash servers by spamming too many rockets
Gaijin adds top tier bomber (Tornado) as event vehicle
Gaijin adds top tier bomber (Tornado) as premium
Gaijin nerfs bomb base respawn times because people are bombing too much
It’s BR is fine and no they don’t.
High tier vehicles cost exponentially more $/GE, but take only marginally more effort for the developer to produce. The profit margin is simply higher, so they will be pursued.
technically with premium vehicle’s you’re purchasing the “Research Effectiveness”, not the vehicle itself. Prime example is the CV-90105 where it was replaced instead of being lowered in rank.
The higher the rank a vehicle is, the more expensive it is because it allows you to research a lot more vehicles
I think you’re making the mistake of imagining that in-game factors are in the slightest way important in comparison to quarterly reports.
