Refreshing this topic now that Fox is mature and sitting at 8.0, with the FV432/30 being a much less competitive means of slogging RARDEN around the place it is now more attractive as a 7.3 box.
As stated in the Suggestion, FV432/30 would have access to the full range of ammunition options including APDS (and the APCR, if ever added). Its FV432 hull would be the most significant detriment, providing middling mobility combined with no protection worth mentioning. Being an ersatz IFV conversion built in response to the BMP-1, it aftually fills quite an important position in the British LT line.
Based upon the investigation I’ve since performed into FV432/30s history I retract my previous advice of making it a Premium, as it represents the first IFV-like vehicle in British service. Ingame, it would be best compared to the BTR-80A.

It is, and that’s the point. It would be a lower tier Scimitar.
why would being lower benefit the RARDEN in slightest?

I’m only giving this a +1 on principle.
If I’m being 100% honest, this would be a terrible addition for anything other than a premium/squadron/event. It would be sluggish in nearly all regards, and just to put salt in the wound, it wouldn’t even perform well if undertiered due to the prevalence of heavy armour…
The best options for British mid tier ground is certainly not this.
