Or you could save yourself a headache scrolling through mindless ramblings and look at facts Community Bug Reporting System
These random comments make no sense… clearly I can hear, what other bs will you bring to the foxes defense?
You just said most times it’s hard to hear over the sounds of the battle. Spawn camping occurs with every vehicle. Ohh sorry it was 3 not 4… Debating semantics now… How sad
Please keep the discussion on topic and civil, and refrain from insulting / putting down other members. Please take personal quarrels to PMs, thanks.
Facts were brought up in the other thread.
Are you implying im cheating then?
Don’t edit your message
You can edit whatever you like, i was just making sure you was sticking by what you originally stated… However one thing you can’t do is throw out accusations stating another player is cheating via sound mods with zero evidence.
You say you can magically hear over the sounds of war. That’s a pretty decent concern.
Who said that?
I don’t find any of your claims valid and in fact the RARDEN can hold 6 rounds with 2x3 round clips in the gun together and is stated to have a cyclical rate of 90rpm in game it has 80 I believe with only 3 round clips.
On the note of penetration it was designed to have the ability to destroy any light armour the soviets had at any angle at a range of 1,000 meters. They wouldn’t have accepted its use if it didn’t meet this requirement.
In fact I have located a potential source on the National Archives reference “WO 32/21471”
30mm Rarden cannon I don’t however feel like paying just to see it but if you are so adamant go ahead. What you will find is the RARDEN likely has better penetration values at higher angles and at greater ranges. This is also potential proof the round is moving faster. These two sources contradict each other. I am however more likely to believe the lower source as it have ranging data and dope calculations in mills. This means they must have a more accurate measure of bullet weight and velocity. They even where able to measure velocity at impact.
That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. If you have read the report from the soldier he says the longer reloading time only comes if you forgot to feed the gun and had one skip in the feed.
" 30mm Gun which is fitted to the Warrior. Is a pain in the arrse to operate due to the first round (6 can be loaded in one go) having to be handcranked into the breech.
The 30mm Rarden Cannon is also fitted to a Scimitar CVR(T). There are three types of ammunition. APDS (Armour Piercing Discarding Sabot) Have a black clip with on hole in it. The tip of the ammunition is blue.
HE (High Explosives) Have a yellow clip with two holes in. The tip of the ammunition is yellow.
PRAC (Practice Rounds) Have a blue clip with three holes in. The tip of the ammunition is blue as per the APDS but have a shorter range for training purposes only.
They come in clips of three and are loaded three clips at a time. The Rarden Cannon must have a another clip loaded after three rounds in order for the mechanism to keep the cycle of self loading going. If the Commander loses count the gun will not load and this will cause what is know as a gap in feed and the gun will need to be made safe, (an unload followed by a load). This in a war time situation could cost the crew its lives and that is why an engagement is usually three rounds."
I mean there’s video footage of it performing a 6 round burst but i guess it’d be a choice between a 3 round burst quick reload or 6 round burst and 2x the reload.
All the gentleman states is if the commander loses count. In other words if he doesn’t lose count and the next 3 round clip is loaded before the last goes through its self feeding.
If you have evidence of the contrary by all means throw a report out mate, it’s abit of a hard thing to prove imo. But i welcome any change that represents real life performance.
I would love to but I don’t see them giving two … about fixing something that is British. I have tried to get them to fix the Harriers flight model for a while and I have very accurate and reliable sources. They will usually report as not a bug for just using WTRTI. I have now made a report using only Localhost:8111 and its been read and ignored not even a passed to developers.
Have you pinged a forum mod to see if they can shine any light on the report? Gunjob is pretty good when handling British aircraft/reports
Yes, he however didn’t seem to interested as the IRL test aircraft had 2x100 gallon fuel tanks and he said that it cannot be done without proper drag values or some excuse. My argument is how can a clean Harrier in game sustain on average 2G less then one that has a combat loadout.
