The Scimitar we have in game has the OTIS mounting circle and the OTIS storage bin the Scimitar should get Gen 1 thermals.

Another bug ill be reporting.
Neutral turn on CVRT Scimitar and Striker is misbehaving.
The game is not allowing the engine to increase RPM to create enough torque to neutral turn, something every tank including the J60-powered CVRTs need to do for this to be possible.
It works on the Cummins powered CVRTs (stormer) so its very strange that its misbehaving on the earlier powertrain variants. due to the same output speeds per gea to tracks between the two powerplants the neutral turn should be identical (if not microscopically slower on J60due to the cummins diesel naturally having far more torque than a petrol combustion engine)
Yeah, they both use an auto clutch so it would spool the engine adequately to turn the tank.
Yes… that’ll definitely help, and not be unneeded thanks to super APDS
That’s the Scorpion 2000 demonstrator, not a Scimitar.
I think it’s like on the CR2s’ RCWS where any model can take it rather than it being variant specific
Okay for one, The Scimitar and Scorpion turrets are different.
Secondly, the British Army never bothered even on the Scorpions, which did have roof MGs in export use, so is rather a moot point anyway.
From what I’ve been told, the only difference is the ammo storage and gun housing/mantlet
Every apart from the base structure, everything is just a bit different. There’s a reason they didn’t drop in replace the 76 with a Rarden when they took the Scorpions out of service, rather putting Fox turrets on top with a adapter ring.
I haven’t done huge amounts of study into them so I didn’t know but it is interesting
I have pics of others with the same mounting…
They could also mount a 240
It would be a good AA gun.
I guess… but… It’s still a 0.50 cal and I’d rather use the 30mm
Weird take.
I’m sorry. My brain has been broken from exam stress the past few weeks
lol,
The RARDEN in my opinion is best used as a precision rifle.
Slow rate of fire and slow turret traverse it’s got good punch though.
Is there any data for the accuracy of the RARDEN irl?
