We are talking about the engine revving which applies to the schimitar, fox, aubl, etc. (since they all do it).
it falls under the schimitar so is that not on topic?
Well anytime it seems myself or anyone else has an adverse opinion, and bring up statistical data, we get spam reported, and insulted constantly 😂
But I just think it’s a little odd there’s two of pretty much the same vehicle at 7.7 (which the schimitar could stay an 7.7, and fox should be an 8.0) then the ammo rebalance would make them balanced and still be fun
Because i don’t feel like searching for it all again. You were apart of the “Fox is overpowered forum”
You saw it then, you go find it in that forum if you need to see it again.
Personally, the only OP point I see with the Fox is that despite having wheels, it achieves a lot of speed on any terrain, when depending on the terrain it should lose some of that speed. Thus, the Scimitar would make more sense, since the Scimitar is slower in general but better on all terrain, while the Fox would be better at taking advantage of roads and hard terrain.
The fact that the Fox’s armor stops shots is simply due to poor game programming, it has nothing to do with the tank itself. There are times when light tanks stop APDS-FS bullets at 0º. In the case of the Fox, it is possible that it has poor programming that causes shots in certain areas to have no effect.
My engine got shot out by an m56 yesterday, and suddenly my coaxial mg wouldnt fire… so may just be buggy. (And by all rights I should’ve been able to kill said m56).
no, this is a modelling error which I’ve reported. Scimitars turret and gun operation are all manual, the lower part of the periscoped and gunners sight don’t affect the ability to shoot on a real scimitar https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/QB81Y8uKREPX
I was helped by people like gunjob and devilo6 with finding information for the report, hopefully if we all work together we can push gaijin to actually get declassified vehicles correct for everyone
