Officially, the AAM-1 was slightly inferior to the AIM-9B. So adding the T-1 with the AAM-1 may allow it to fly at a lower Br than other fighters with the AIM-9B
I’d guess they’re more or less similar in performance. I’d think with access to AAM-1 and AIM-9B it’d be roughly 8.0

I would love this plane and a T-1A.

If I can ask, why is the assumption that it would be fitted with AIM-9Es and not AIM-9Bs? Wouldnt it be more fitting considering the development years that it would use the same missiles as the F-86F in the JASDF?
One book source confirms armament as AIM-9E. I forgot to enter it.

+1 quite a cool plane
Additionally, information about the Fuji T-1’s armament from the books 日本航空機辞典 1951年(昭和26年)~1989年(平成元年)下巻 (Encyclopedia of Japanese Aircraft 1951 (Showa 26) - 1989 (Heisei 1) Volume 2) page 31-32 and 世界の傑作機 1974年5月 No.49 特集:富士 T-1
