I’m unsure about this one, it isn’t too much of a stretch to put it at 1.0 but simultaneously the 12.7mm is not very strong at all, I’d call for a maybe.
I think it fits to an extent. It’s like having 25mm armed wheeled armoured cars at 9.0. They’re only going to penetrate light armoured vehicles or MBTs from the side-close in, and yet they’re viable. The speed gives the Fox a decent leg up, compared with something like the M2A2.
I think it also fits if you use the Fox to lead in a line of:
- BR 1.0 - Fox I
- BR 1.3 - Daimler Mk II (Canada was a frequent user of this)
- BR 2.3 Staghound I (Another prolific vehicle in Canadian service)
- BR 4.0 - Staghound III (Canada was the only Allied user of the Staghound III, despite the British having developed it)
