Fouga VP 90, look down and you will miss it

I would have loved to help but I’d say I’d be grasping at straws, I’d even go as far as trying to mail Renault with a request to send the sekrit documents on the vehicle since I see no other way to get them for vehicles this obscure.

its more complicated than just affiliations with Renault. French archives are at Vincennes and Chatellerault, the photo of UE 57 and the copy of Galliot muzzlebrake is in British Shrivenham

I just asked Tank Encyclopedia guys to check if it’s really MG151/20 - it looked too tiny for Fouga when I looked at AMX 70.
They said it’s one of Hispano-Suizas, one being HS404.
If it’s really one it actually has not 27mm, but 38mm of penetration as already in-game (e.g. D.520 plane)

Most likely it uses one of Porsche’s opposed piston (boxer) engines, like one on EBR but four-cylinder. However, Porsche didn’t seem to make 1.6L producing 55 PS. They made 1.5L for 55 PS and 1.6L for 70 PS. So the Fouga’s engine is either net power, or the engine is actually 1.5L.
Either way, I tested it on 900kg car and it achieves great speed of 169 km/h. Cut the specific power in less than a half - 90km/h is still very easily achievable. The engine produces that power at 4400 RPM, I suppose it can do 5400 of max RPM.
Once I decorate my 3D-reconstruction of it a bit better, I’ll publish it here too

Hey, we found that from “DavidNJK” if that can also help
