Being an aircraft, its easier than ground and naval being a Air Sim Main, but with the notable nerfs to ASB grinding…
Decisions decisions. Anyone think this is gunna be all that good? Thinking more of an Air Sim point of view.

Could use 9.3 BR if it’s not that already.
To me, its sounding a bit like a Jaguar GR1 which is 10.0 in Sim. So im dounting it will be 9.3. Just has a weaker missile
It’s considerably less capable than the jaguar
I will be grinding it out mainly for the collectivity of it and the fact its the closest im getting to a J-22 Orao
This had such good potential to be a wicked event vehicle and Gaijin flops yet again, give it the R-60s, CM pod and other things it could possibly carry then we can start talking.

I think you are confusing the aircraft. The IAR-93 never had a CM pod, that’s the Yugoslavian version the J-22, which was a modernization.
It is far from being a lineup grinder, but still a very nice collectible.
Why should it have weaponry and equipment it did not carry only theorised to carry
If Gaijin was adding the J-22 Orao yes i would agree but not the IAR-93
@TeodorSan Makes me happy a fellow enjoyer of the airframe as its a very niche aircraft in both nations senses but i nice one at that. Just hoping for a user skin now just to orao it a bit

I said “possibly” since I wasn’t entirely sure it carried them or not, if it was planned then throw it at it.
I agree, should have had the R60s and flares for balancing purposes if the launchers could have carried them (the Romanians most likely recycled the launchers from their Mig21 which did carry R60 and the flares pod SPS141 or whatever it was called). Gaijin has done this on and on - e.g. Yak 141 which never even entered service. As things stand, it’s a plane from mid 70s which will end up fighting planes from the end of the 40s. Not satisfactory at all but I will grind it anyway.

Thanks for putting in the game! However, I am a bit disappointed that a modern Romanian decal didn’t come alongside it. Now, besides the Osa, there’s the IAR sporting it. Do you guys think we’re going to get it?
