Officially; Malaysia is looking at the Su-57E, while Russia has just made large offers to Indonesia, including IL-78MK-90A (which Indonesia seems to have requested too), Mi-17, Ka-52E and Su-57E.

I don’t think Japan needs a flanker, but they do need stuff from their subtrees to supplement for pretty much every part of their contemporary air force being in game to an extent (F-2, F-15J and the F-35 in the future). The US I would say don’t necessarily need a flanker since they have lots of different possible aircraft, whether its prototype or upgrades / other significant variants. The only things left for Japan really is variants of aircraft already in game, and their trainers + prototypes for 5th Gen. That leaves a massive gap for 12.x/13.x/14.x.
