When will there be another economy re-work since the previous RP and SL reductions have been wiped out with the addition of the new top rank vehicles over the last year and a half? Also, please answer what is the expected grind length for an average player.
my blue balls still haven’t healed from when I found out the Patriot was only in the trailer
With the current state of non Russian SPAA/AD, it is essentially the only effective counter.
I have probably killed more SU-25’s with my OH-58 than I have my Chaparrel, Roland and Lav-AD combined.
Oh brother we’ve already jumped that shark
This game is not about historical balance or accuracy, otherwise this game would be dead.
Some countries had advantages in different times.
War Thunder Devs. If you are reading this, I think that this is a fantastic update, and I’m very impressed at the fact that we’re only in the dev server and it appears that we have a more sophisticated stealth mechanic than DCS does, which touts itself as the better simulator.
I am largely happy with the update, but there is a problem. On the dev stream is where I believe this was said, but the reason given for the use of the F-100 PW 220 engine in the F-15E is unsatisfactory. It was stated that the reason was because if it received the 229 engine, which is in the nearly identical Israeli vehicle, then there would be no reason to grind for the other American Eagles.
The reason that this is an issue is because the US tech tree has become by far the most bloated tech tree in the game, requiring more hours to unlock the hundreds of aircraft in it than any of the other tech trees do, which is incredibly fatiguing. I fully understand that if someone can just grind the bomber line to get an aircraft which is good at everything, Gaijin will not make as much money from premium time/GE sales. It is distasteful to many, and many people whom I have spoken to about this decision feel insulted and that this is a blatantly unfair representation of such a popular aircraft.
I understand that the Strike Eagle does not need to be stronger to be good at air to ground, but l think that this is the wrong choice considering the context being that we are getting a stronger aircraft in another tech tree in the same update, when performance should be the same. I also don’t think that it’s an entirely historic representation of the aircraft either.
Please, Gaijin, I and many others would very much like to see this fixed or at least addressed before the patch day.
Gaijin: The patriotic food in the Russian Federation is really delicious!
