Yeah, and it has one of the highest SL/game stats, not just in its BR range. Go look. It dominates. Mostly because of its Dart, only partially because of its gun depression.
And it has craptastic thermals (or no thermals?)
You guys are massively overreacting about its BR being “DOA”, what you think it should be in the 8.0 BRs? With DM33 dart? Get a grip on reality.
What kind of reconnaissance vehicle has tank destroyer fire power? At battle rating 9.7 it will easily go through most if not everything it faces, nice addition. I don’t want to sound crazy but the lastest german ground event vehicles were wheeled.

What barrel?
Please note that the initial name-change (immediately after the aquisition) was “TH 400” → “H 400” (H refering to HENSCHEL, i.e. HENSCHEL Wehrtechnik - a subdivision of Thyssen Henschel). This was done in 2000.
In 2001, HENSCHEL Wehrtechnik was disbanded as subdivision and the name of the vehicle changed to “R 400” (idk what they refer to with it, either Radpanzer or Rheinmetall i guess)
The Leopard 1A5 turret was fitted in 2003 btw
They modelled that of an L7 instead of the Rh 105-30 which the vehicle actually used…

The turret used is that of TH 301 and since I have better quality images of it, I’ll use those instead;
The bore-evacuator is the most noticeable part, the barrel itself is also too thin as it lacks the thermal-sleeve found on the Rh 105-30 cannon.

Eh, if anything the Rooikat should be higher. I again show the Type 16 (FPS) with a crap dart and only -6 degrees gun depression sitting at 9.3 in both AB and RB.
Nah, DM33 darts shouldn’t be down at 9.3 anyway. OR the tanks with the bad darts need to go LOWER. So, you give me my Type 16 (FPS) at 8.7 or 8.3 and you can keep your Rooikat at 9.3AB/9.7RB and this new one.
Why ? It taste so good.

Kind of, from my understanding Class 3(P) was the technology demonstrator for the South African light reconnaissance vehicle which resulted in the Rooikat being adopted, TH-800 is the technical manufacturer designation of the same (similar) modular platform.
