Provided the map’s objectives are balanced (ergo, air superiority points and frontlines start out equidistant between axis/allies or warsaw/nato’s spawns), flying for 10 minutes if fine with me.
The only reason I hate denmark in prop SB is because allies get all the ground battles and air superiority objectives on the south-eastern landmass and fly ~32km at most to reach them, while as axis if I’m not playing japan I gotta either spawn on airfields without AAA and get spawnkilled or spawn on the north-western landmass and fly fly 100 km to reach the same objective - guaranteeing allies always win air superiority.
Having this map, with actual symmetry at the start would open up a nice carrier-heavy map for prop sim without punishing germany/italy for not having naval fighters.

It’s not consoles holding anything back, it’s map and RAM optimization.
BTW it’s the average Steam computer “holding back” games, which is a good thing.
Unoptimized messes have been a theme among companies with too much money and too much stinginess.

i have not been on much lately, but what are the issues with the harriers?
Everything
The AOA is limited to 21 degrees vs 40 or so they can actually do.
The ITR with VIFF does not match the irl data and it underperforms in game by a significant margin.
The Sustained turn rate also underperforms.

Very nice to see such progress!
Regarding map design:
I really miss the Norway map at prop BRs. This map showed what really passionate map designers are able to deliver - a real masterpiece.
All plane classes could contribute:
- Bombers for bases and (allied) carriers
- Strike aircraft / torpedo bombers for cruisers & landing craft
- Fighters vs fighters or bomber interception
If i counted correctly i played on this map 4 times in the last 3 years:
2 times in February 2022 (within 2 days)
2 time in March % April 2025
It is rather sad that this high quality map is not every 2nd month in rotation.
So it would be great to see these “legacy” maps (same as “Operation Iskra” with amazing map layout) way more often - they simply outclass the way newer maps with target diversification and target locations.

With this map being added, I’d really love to see some unique Argentinian vehicles added at some point. Specifically ones like their Skyhawk which used both Shafrir 2s and Matra Magic 1s.


The potential to recreate the conflict has grown quite substantially with this addition, hope to see it improved even more in the future!
