Fair Play: November 2024

Good to know that it also happens with the chain.

Chat offense? When you are in same battle - click on nickname RMB, click complain and fill report with, dunno “inuslts in chat” for example. We have logs from chat.

Rule breaking offence in battle (cheats etc.) - best to do is to go to replay function and report there. It will give GMs info on what they should check. Time, player. That will make their work much much easier.

We appreciate all reports and your time spend on sending them. Thanks!

Please make Taiwan and China be on different teams for sim.

I hate getting shot by P-38s while flying america. I also hate flying at a B-25j as japan and learn it’s a friend (coincidentally, if it wasn’t a friend b-25j has some of the deadliest defensive armament in my experience)

That’s absolutely not true and a very common misconception by a large portion of the player base. The number of reports made on an individual player means nothing at all. Only valid reports are acted on, in fact it is against the Rules to make false reports on players and that can lead to moderation on those making the false reports. All “Report Bombing” does is clog up the complaint system with invalid reports and makes the GM’s job harder and slows the actions against those that actually break the game’s Rules . . it benefits no one to do such things. And besides, tk reports are not acted on anyway, the automated system does that. This ban wave is most likely over a very long period of time with many players being reviewed over that time period . . . it is not likely any of this has happened in the past 3 - 4 weeks.

That would mean that any teamkill is counted towards your stats and you do not investigate any reports, but rather have a threshhold at which point the system highlights a teamkiller.

If that is the case, then that system would be at fault, because you’re not accomodating for accidental teamkills when a missile goes astray or someone drives into your artillery barrage or you drop a bomb incorrectly.

On a sidenote, chat offenses can only be reported DURING a battle.

As soon as the battle is finished the report function won’t work anymore…at least that’s the case on playstation.

for chat offense, cheats, ppl pushing their tanks in yours for whatever reason (to get you killed, or just be annoying, etc)…

thanks for the clarification

A member of my squadron had another squadron mass report them for nothing, he was then chat banned for 30 days. He only Played Squadron Realistic Battles. He never typed anything into chat

If i understand it correctly the Automatic TK system records the TK if it shows upp in the kill feed. Any other TK (by means of ramming or crashing, etc) needs a report made using the in-game complaint system or replay on main website. I am however not 100% certain on this.

During last few weeks I saw it once (and guess what, reported them, so I will not see their stupid chat messages for some time) and I play every day.

If you will not report them, they will feel they do nothing wrong and get encourage to act stupid.
I understand that not all of you got time or will for filling such reports. Still, if you are person who find racist comment in chat as a behaviour unworthy of a human being, take a minute and report such (put bad names here). You can do it AFTER battle, on post screen, just switch tab to CHAT and report them. GMs will get rid of them from the chat.
Thanks

I would be very happy if you could give me a short answer to my questions @Stona_WT

Can any mod or game master confirm if these kind of team kills would be acted upon?

Excellent, lets see them all come crawling back making out they made a mistake and it was totally thier cat crawling across thier mouse that they fired their guns…

TBH I do not know how it looks on PSX :(
But on PC, as I said few post above, you can report on post battle screen, from Chat Tab.
If you checked that on PSX and there is no such option, please submit bug report, it should work on all platforms. Especially on consoles, where you need a bit more time to type.

They literally chatban up to permanent devoice. It’s a far cry to say they arent doing something. Chat moderation is a waste of resources. If you don’t like seeing that word there is a chat filter and also the option to turn the chat off

@Stona_WT I still haven’t gotten an answer on how to report YouTubers (Afflided Partners of Warthudner) who use streamer mode.

Of course it shows up in the kill feed, but that doesn’t have to be intentional.

AIM-9L are the prime example, because they seem to prioritize friendlies over enemies most of the time.

If the game were to work that accidents can’t happen, then that TK system would be fine, but if you play alot in 10.0+ and use IT missiles and Radar missiles, then you will end up with 2-3 TK per day easily, not because it is intentional, but simply because the missile has absolutely no clue where it is at all.

Too often, obviously.

They shouldn’t fire in a situation where a Blue is in such a vicinity of a Red that the missile may reaquire him.

Trigger discipline is hard, I know that myself, but it’s still just discipline.

I think you can still start up the replay and make the report through there when the replay has gotten to after the point where the message was sent.

If you want to put your squadron member on a shame, please ask him to post here. With his account. We can go to logs and publish what he typed. 30 days chat ban means, that his parents would not be proud from what he typed.
We have LOGS for every chat offence. We do not punish without logs from chat.
