These “monthly” announcements are literally jokes, huge number of those banned accounts are throw-aways and they have already created new ones. Cheaters need to be banned within days if Gaijin wants to get rid of them.

that would give the creators of the cheats the ability to figure out what’s being detected and what’s not, giving them a better ability to make less detectable cheats doing it all at once makes it so that war thunder has a longer time to get a larger group of cheaters without the makers of it knowing that their cheats were detected. hence denying their ability to know if their cheats are sneaky enough. that’s the logic behind it.

149 Xbox, 96 PSN. probably falls into Automation of gameplay (bypassing AFK checks w/ random controls) or using said account on PC
console players can play on PC without issues it just has the normal restrictions in place
as in using the account on PC and then cheating/automating
They want to give them time to buy up a bunch of premiums first.

It’s kind of just a “its that time of the month, make new accounts!”, Gaijin needs to impose both an IP and Hardware ban if they want to get anywhere. These bulk removals though make sense as it ensures the people making them cant ever determine what’s being caught, but Gaijin could use so much better of a system
Also, I say hardware + IP ban because if it were just an IP ban, the cheater could just go to like, a local coffee shop, but just doing a hardware ban allows the cheater to just buy a new device (which would be costly)
Doing both and having a complete deletion of someone’s account (of course, within a timeframe without appeal) would make it so much worse for the cheater
Alternatively, just start nuking them. Can’t really cheat if you’re literally dust

Isnt it that PSN can be transfered to PC but will still have the PSN/Console batch on it? Or did i got that one wrong?
Or they disliked the friendly ATOM BOMB so hard that they didnt cared… i can feel them, i also want to kill every single ATOM BOMER that i can find… ending a Teambased game by a single person is… well… what shall i say… not very a Teameffort.
And the Sound of it… that haunts you even in the Hangar… and that the lowest tier Atom Bomber gets an Airspawn so its not possible to jump outta tank into a plane to stop it…
all in all just badly implemented and it should not be in a Teambases game in the first place…

This is my favorite season in WT, it means I won’t be cross mapped through 7 buildings, 14 bushes, and 3 trees, while all that can be seen of my tank is the antenna behind a hill, sticking out like an ant

I was actually surprised how many Xbox accounts were on there. I’m assuming they are transferred accounts? Because its impossible to cheat on Xbox… Hell we can’t get mods on anything really cuz the security is so tight
You can log in with your X-box-linked gaijin account on a PC client of War Thunder.
The normal X-box available services however do still apply (but you lose the ability to ‘select’ air targets in ground realistic on the PC-client, as that is exclusive to both console clients).
And as said by the moderators here plenty of times, they could also just be stolen accounts, now used on a PC platform. The amounts of stolen 2014 or older accounts on sale on the internet right now is staggering, even when websites that give those services are restricted by governments like the French or Benelux ones.
