It is definitely the meta plane after the wing ripping changes, with the current hype around it I’m certain it will get moved to 10.3. Really the only point of this post was to highlight why the F-8E(FN) isn’t worthy of very moved up with it.

The 530Es are even funnier because it’s a massive range IR missile, I run them on the F1C-200 center pylon because it’s funny to get kills with them. Meme missile 100%. Idk what the French were smoking giving it 100 seconds of guidance time but it’s amazing.
I want it to stay at 10.0 just because it’s hilariously broken, but seriously it’d still be more than good at 10.3. It could probably handle 10.7 along with the F-8E honestly, the differences between them are pretty slight. Honestly, I would see the F8U being put up at 10.7, and the F-8E given AIM-9G and raised to 11.0

But at that point you have the J-7E and F-8E being the same BR, with the F-8E having vastly worse flight characteristics AND missiles, with the only advantages being radar missiles which would be kinda useless since everybody carries chaff that instantly defeats them, and better guns.
Unless the F-8E receives AIM-9Ls at 11.0, I don’t think it should be the same BR as the J-7E. But if you give it AIM-9Ls, its capabilities jump up a lot due to it being an all-aspect, unlike the rear-aspect PL-5B, with some vehicles like the Sea Harrier being 11.3 with the same loadout of 4xAIM-9Ls.
I think F8U-2 moving to 10.3 would be fine currently as that BR seems to get lots of uptiers.

Gaijin makes terrible balancing mistakes when you take it at face value but a lot of the time they are Uptier prone BRs. Or it’s just a bad place for the vehicle lol
So move the J-7E up, and keep moving stuff up until it bloody works. But Gaijin could never
