Now its obvious F-16 is better in terms of overall flight performance but TigerShark isn’t helpless against Falcon completely, unless you dont know how to use it effectively.
Do you realize that isn’t remotely the point of the discussion? If an F-5E can kill the F-20A in some scenarios, should the F-5E go to 12.3 too?
I don’t even have the F-20A nor do I want to buy it, but that thing is the worst jet fighter at 12.3 (the strike jets are obviously overtiered as usual, except the GR.7)
The F-16 can catch the F-20A with just 101% afterburner lol
the F-16A trumps the F-20A in every aspects of the fight:
Max speed
Acceleration
Turn Radius
If both pilots have the same experience (and sufficient,… noobies will end up in 50/50 rate), the F-16A will come out on top.
Same with Mirage 2000C, MiG-29 9-12 / Sniper and Yak-141 (which have similar turning abilities than F-20A outside of VTOL mode).
while quoted MiG-29’s and Yak-141 are 12.7 (due to R-27’s) there is no 12.3 counterpart in Russia so i took those.
the Mirage 2000C-S5 and S4 are even better than F-16A in both acceleration, max speed and instantaneous turning (not in stall turns, but that’s normal for a Delta)
Again, only advantage that F-20 has is radar and radar missiles over the F-16
