Its 100% 2d thrust vectoring, and its the F-15 STOL/MTD. I personally wouldn’t mind seeing it in game for aerobatics shows but other than that it realistically is a nighthawk but worse.

i already knew it was 2D, not even Su-30SM2 has 3D TVC, just Su-57 iirc.
i would love to have more planes with TVC in WT, but there’s just so few of them that probably will not be added for a lot of random reasons not even Gaijin would believe.

STOL MTD is the early gen 1 version of the ACTIVE the MTD was developed into the active later on
it solves all the high tier F15s being bricks the only good WVR fighter is the F15A with the F15 ACTIVE it solves all the FM problems like low thrust and no turn rate
i really dont think poor fm performance is the reason for any major problems with US top tier air
part of it other problem is there missiles are horrible
the missiles not doing well at anything except mid-long range is like 85% of the issue i feel
but adds the problem of having no ordinance at all (unless they fake it)
