so i found this funny thing in full manual controls allows you to disable your servos allowing you to pull excessive AOA in manual mode at low speed similar to the aoa limiter
setting the SAS mode to manual allows you to pull basically a cobra just from holding S and i think this should be a tab button as a replacement since the F14 cant receive the AOA switch it has IRL

You do realize it’s the same method the Hornet uses in real life right? It’s just a paddle switch. No reason it shouldn’t be added.

well the reason they said it couldnt is cause it would loose control and the F14 doesnt loose control in manual mode with SAS servos set to manual control so i see no problem any more
also i have a suspicion there not doing it right when you press the button it only disables the PITCH servo not the YAW servos those remain which i think is why
so it should fly similar to a su27 with aoa switch
just come play sim, it’s doable with M&K quite well
