no my gameplay is to dive to the deck from air spawn, fly tree tops to approx. 6-7 miles to a point perpendicular with the battlefield, pop-up and launch immediately, so I’m literally strafing from the side without flying over the bf. I target things of opportunity around OBJ. Pumas and BMP etc and SPAA are guaranteed a kill, but T-series, and Leopards etc are 50% track & barrel “hit” 50% kill. So maybe not 33% success overall but I digress.
This is a “bloody lie”. I’ve had them hit me when i’m pre flaring in the F15A at a high enough aspect. It’s how the seeker is supposed to work. The R-73 is the single best and really only dogfighting missile.

Best SPAA, sure. Best MBTs, debatable. Best CAS, eh.
Then again, all MBTs have their ups and downs, it just depends on how you play. My personal doctrine is light tanks with massive cannons like the CV120, Centauro, and the Rooikat. Most people prefer other things. So MBTs are moreso a skill thing over the obvious best SPAA.

To be fair, most pantsirs aren’t a threat if you pay attention.

They had best CAS if uncontested from CAP, otherwise they were just a free RP/SL.

Their cas is worse on an armament basis, but can perform CAP well if they can avoid the pantsirs, and once the sky is clear without pantsirs American CAS is oppressive.
