america has one of the best BVR planes which can take full advantage of the SPAMRAAM in ways only the Eurofighter and Mirage Rafale can only match. Typhoon cant carry as many of them and the rafale (which isn’t even in french spec but indian. so fake buff there) only matches fox 3 missile count but mica is much more of a dogfight missile than BVR jouster

I really wish people would stop using Pantsir as the sole barometer of how powerful CAS needs to be. Everything is always “I need SLAMs to beat Pantsir!!”, “I need full scope Brimstones to counter Pantsir!!”.
There is never any attention paid to how such things would make the game legitimately unplayable for everyone else. What is the Israel player in his Machbet, The Japan player in his Type81, or the Italian player in his OTO supposed to do? Both US and UK are still stuck with ADATS, are there any US/UK mains here who can honestly tell me with a straight face they’d enjoy fighting SLAM / F&F Brimstones with that thing? I highly doubt it.
Gaijin made a huge mistake adding KH38. They made a huge mistake adding Pantsir. But making the game worse just to one up the former and counter the latter, is like eating our own turds so long as RU mains have to smell our breath. No one wins. The game gets worse for everyone.
We need to focus on letting the 9/10 countries with useless AA catch up before we buff CAS anymore.
It’s not like fighting SLAM would be any leg up compared to the KH-38. It would be even easier, it’s a slower weapon with less magazine depth. So yes, I would rather fight SLAM with the ADATS than the KH-38M
Getting SLAM is just attempting to get some sort of parity in the standoff department that it currently dramatically missing for ‘"some reason’"
“Some reason” is because 9/10 countries are still stuck with SPAA’s that struggle to deal with even current armament top tier US CAS.
It makes little sense to make the game objectively worse for the 90%, purely to spite the 10% (RU) that has been spoiled beyond belief.
I have nothing against US, and everyone else getting all their bells and whistles in the long run, but we just desperately need to have better SAM’s in place beforehand (and I include US within that). Even in the devs own words CAS is having a negative impact on top tier. We can’t let the gap CAS / AA gap grow any larger.

Britain, for as bad as ADATS is, aint even in the bottom 3 weakest AA nations.
And those were all terrible decisions. But just because one country is held to different standards and given the dubious privilege to ruin the game, doesn’t mean we should let everyone ruin the game. What’s even the point in playing warthunder if it’s just everyone lobbing cruise missiles and AGM’s onto the battlefield that nobody else can counter.
Even right now, The best CAS US, UK, FR, GER, SWE, ITA, ISR and CN have are all more than capable of absolutely clowning their own best AA’s. Making that gap even larger is just degrading the quality of gameplay for everyone.

So what you trying to say is better to let Russia have their BS ruined all other nation fun and get away with it than let everyone have their BS?
What i’m saying is, Russia is always going to get their BS regardless. They’re held to difference balancing standards than the rest of us, so it’s pointless to compare them to the rest of us.
Fighting against 1 country (RU) who has BS i can’t counter is frustrating
Fighting against 9 countries who have BS i can’t counter would straight up make me quit the game.
Both options suck, but ones the lesser of two evils.
I’m fine with everyone getting their own BS later - under the sole condition that we already have the counter in place. If i am still stuck here in 2027, fighting F-36’s with 500km range AGM-69000’s in my Chaparral, i think i’m going to have a mental breakdown. This CAS arms race has gone on far to long. It’s time to let AA catch up after god knows how many years of being stuck with the same junk. I simply care more about giving everyone a counterpart of Pantsir before giving everyone a counterpart of KH38.

If the 9/10 countries who aren’t Russia were given viable AA’s, that’s how you would fight them. That’s why i want these AA’s so badly. And that’s why i don’t want to see more things like KH38 added to the game until those AA’s arrive.
Focusing on giving everyone a KH38 counterpart - with current SPAA to fight against it, makes the game worse for everyone.
