F/A-18C (Early) should get Aim 120s now

How is it taking you months to get anywhere? it took me a few weeks working 40 hour weeks to get from rank 1 to rank 6 at the time Air for the US tree.

Plus the F18A/C earlier, shouldn’t / couldn’t mount amraams.

It’s not the same. That one has the -402 engines while it has the weight of the F/A-18A and F/A-18C Early. That one has by far the best flight performance of any Hornet.

Like that matters for arb. It’s still by far the worst hornet. I touched it once and never again

I tried fighting for the F/A-18C early to get the Aim 120s A’s or B’s but the problem is that Russian Bais players run gaijin and will do anything to make sure that it’s a easy win for them. There so much proof that there is Russian Bais 😢😢😢.

Good, because it’s an horrificaly bad idea.

Or people who actually have top tier planes and know what max BR is like and who bought the F/A18s to grind other trees, not wanting them ruined by pushing them up into the top tier BR range where they will get eaten alive by the Rafs, EFTs and advanced Su-30s.
Yes compression sucks and ARH planes have an advantage over SARH planes, yes the premium Su-30s are too low, but if you think getting the F/A-18s moved up to fight top-tier is going to improve things you are dead wrong.
Frankly if I only player Russia I would be all for giving the prem F/A-18 ARH and up tiering them as I do need to spade the Su-30SM2 at some point and hordes of newbs in Hornets would make life easy. But I also have an F/A-18 and don’t want it ruined.
Look, your max BR plane is the Hornet, your max TT plane is the F-4E, I would humbly suggest you actually get to top tier and see what the 14.3/14.7 planes are like before advocating that the top premium in several trees be up tiered to fight them.

“buffing” the F-18s by giving them Fox-3’s is really just a nerf.
They’re currently some of the best aircraft in their brackets at 12.3 and 12.7.

Giving them Fox-3’s forces them to go from that br to 13.7 (it will NOT be staying at 12.7 with Fox-3’s, don’t bother trying to argue otherwise) at least depending on how many missiles they get.
13.7, with a slow airframe, AIM-120s which are kinda dookie for a Fox-3, no HMD, maybe 9Ls or 9Ms, at a br where you’re facing enemies with: superior radar, superior FM, faster, HMD and Fox-3’s that actually pull.
Not to mention now you can fight things like the Rafale and more Su-30s.

You’re asking to turn a great aircraft (which only suffers from a meh matchmaker), into something that ranges from mid → ass because you lack experience and understanding on how top tier is balanced and what’s good or bad while probably also not knowing how to use your own vehicle.

I suggest getting actual experience first and learning how to use your plane instead of asking to get it nuked

The F-18 premiums are in a waaaaaay healthier place where they are right now than they would be at 13.7/14.0. They are boarderline under BRed at the moment at 12.7 and in any downtier they are very strong.

Yeah i agree that the Premium Hornet is better served at 12.7 then with ARH at 13.7

However it doesnt see downtiers that often due to the Premium Su30’s pulling everyone from 12.3 up into their vortex including the F18C and F16A.

So the Problem stays the same with SARH vs ARH just how it was way back then with Ir vs SARH slingers and IR vs non IR slingers or ALL aspect planes in BR where planes have no Flares at all.

Gaijins Balancing is a hoot since they hardly understand their own game.
