Turns out all the rumours about F-7 BGI having KLJ-6F radar are fake. It actually uses SY-80 radar. Which has less range than the claimed range of KLJ-6F but it doesn’t really matter since it doesnt have any radar missile. Also SY-80 is better at tracking than KLJ-6F.
Source for SY-80 radar:
i actually included this in the East + west Pakistan airforce TT proposal. if it gets accepted ill share the link here.
East Pakistan doesn’t exist anymore. Referring Bangladesh as East Pakistan is disgraceful to be honest.
But thank you for including my post.
im sorry to offend you. it was a mere attempt to rekindle an old bond i fancied. i have named the branch as the bangladeshi branch but for the sake of links i called it east pakistan here
+1 more MiG-21 variants are always welcome

Finally Teber Guidance kit bombs are revealed. Unfortunately it didn’t receive any targeting pod. It relies on Falco Astore drone for guidance. Also in the pictures you can see LS-6’s GPS guidance.
According to some sources its going to receive a targeting pod in the future.
+1 Approved !
This would be an amazing aircraft to counter the MiG-21 Bison found in the UK tech tree, we need this as a successor to the J-7E.
It looks really weird that pilot uses HGU-55P helmet even the plane is still MiG-21.
ofc +1
Recently HGU-55P was standardised for all BAF aircrafts. Btw can this helmet slave Chinese missiles?
If they has HMD visor like this, yes but, that video didn’t show that.
However, it is questionable whether the Chinese AAM and radar were compatible with Western JHMCS visor. When Germany had MiG-29A/Gs, the helmets were NATO ones, but the HMD visors were still Shchel-3UM that is made in Russia.
We need more J-7/F-7 derivatives for Chinese tech tree. Dogfighting beast, would love to see 40g missiles and HMD.

LS-6 with IIR/IR seeker. This variant of LS-6 can track moving targets.
