F-4F ICE – AMRAAM model appears to float above pylon

Hello,

I’ve noticed a minor visual issue with the F-4F ICE when equipping AIM-120 AMRAAMs. In the current 3D model, the missile appears to float slightly above the launch rail. This is visually noticeable when viewed from the underside of the aircraft.

In real-life, the AMRAAM is mounted using modified Sparrow rails that were adapted specifically to fit the missile snugly. I’ve included comparison screenshots from in-game and a real-life F-4F ICE to illustrate the difference.

This has no effect on gameplay performance, but for players familiar with the aircraft’s structure, it breaks immersion a bit. It would be appreciated if the mounting alignment could be adjusted.

This needs to be a bug report. I also have many pictures of ICE with AIM-120s in my own PC but i don’t have access to it yet. It’s so lame that Gaijin decided to just copy-paste an F-4E model and call it a day.

it’s not even the F-4E Model thats just a slightly modified F-4C model (if u notice all phantom models have the F-4C cockpit and not their own straighter ones)

just do a report in general, maybe this is a place where we can gather those issues…
