I made a suggestion like this on the old forum as well, but this is a severe upgrade (spurred largely by something in the files). In the meantime I managed to get a hold of a book that I almost wish to call the F-35 Bible, as it has so much info you just won’t find anywhere else. Written by former pilots of the aircraft back in the 90s, and barely printed. Truly a treasure!

Those were the exact guys that made it clear what kind of countermeasures it could field, as well as the standard configuration.

And in case people wonder as to why I call it Dragon, in Denmark we very clearly depicted it as such. We also use the same word for kite as we do dragon, but our pilots were more cool with it. It led to such liveries as the famous A-009 Red Lindwyrm from 1991.

Harrier GR.1 doesn’t have LRMTS. It was on: Harrier GR.3, T.4, Jaguar GR.1/1A/3/3A, and Tornado GR.1/1A/4/4A. And a few others I think.

Hmm, I’ll admit I have not looked into the specifics of each Harrier model, so I could be wrong on that. This particular statement of where else it was used stems more from parroting one of my sources, but I’ll gladly adjust it

Btw did you mean to leave out this part of the doc?

I know it doesn’t exactly fit but it does show how it was laid out inside the pylon.

That was mainly a limitation of my small monitor; I couldn’t fit all the text on one image properly and I figured it would look clumsy and confusing split into two images. It is a great image though!

Oh yes, I saw. No fun calling it Saab F-35 (especially when it has never been referred to by that name), annd F-35 would be more funny to make people lose their mind at a glance.

Good thing I made a comprehensive list of all the modifications that it should have so it can be corrected!

I grew up near one that was turned into an arcade (I think). Full airframe mounted on hydraulics outside with a monitor encompassing the cockpit. Not sure if it works anymore though.
Here are some of the other good images I managed to dig out (that aren’t just from the Tinbox book, I’ll fetch those another time)

FINALLY! I remember reading ur post long time ago on the old forums about this plane and i have been hoping that it would be added, NOW IT IS COMING!!! :D

Congrats 👏

I like this image, it is like the one plane that has been highlighted like some kind of sci-fi target vision.
