how is speed on the brimstone? maverics essentially fall on enemies is that atleast better?
Brimstone 1 is identical kinematically to Hellfire with the bonus of extra launch speed so probably slightly better than maverick
i thought brimstones had a different motor
Brimstone 2 has a vastly improved motor but the 1s use the same motor as hellfire iirc
not familiar with things like speed loss etc., but their listed max speed is faster than that of mav, since its essentially reskined hellfire.
its not just way they hit the enemies. both HEAT and SAPHE mavs contain more explosive mass than single brimstone, and most importantly, they are FnF while brimstone is SAL allowing for much wider range of defensive manuevers.
Using brimstones for CAS feels like the pilot is holding a glass of water thats 2/3 full in one hand that he cannot spill.
Hah, all EF-2000 just got SPICE-250 and Grippen-E as well, i think i can say now that US CAS will be the worst one if nothing will be added to it. Like anything - Agm-158, SDB 2, Agm-156, SLAM - all of this is will be better than AGM-65’s and jdams, cmon Gaijin

Since they added spice 250 and spice 1000, they prolly should add JSOW and Stormbreaker.
