I think they might just pull a Yak-141 and give it some stuff that it would theoretically have if it were to enter service.

yak141 doesn’t even get the r77 and r73 it carried and also f20 (cancelled 2 years after XL) doesn’t get aim120 what makes you think f16xl with get aim120

US planes being bad is not the truth. The only place they are not the best is 14.0/14.3, but that’s more because of Gaijins continuous refusal to decompress.

The C GE is average now that it has 12 Aim-120s (it’s probably better than the J-10C or Gripen E). The F-18E could be 14.0, but the BRs are just so compressed.

For the F-16XL, it’ll entirely depend on what weapons it gets, and the BR. 14.0+ would kill it, but 13.3 might be too low assuming it gets Aim-120s.

I really hope they do a mix of both prototypes. The engine from the 2 seater on the airframe of the single seater.

(NRM, I’m going to assume the model in the video is the one thats actually going to be used)
