I actually pulled together some solid official sources (including U.S. Federal Register sales records and recent ROCAF parliamentary statements) proving that these upgraded airframes are officially F-16V Block 20, while the newly-built ones Taiwan bought are actually Block 70, not 72.
To help get this fixed, I’ve submitted a formal bug report to get the name corrected to F-16V Block 20. Plus, fixing this now leaves the door open for Gaijin to give us the actual newly-built F-16V Block 70 (with GE F110 engines and CFTs) down the road in the tech tree.

Sounds like couple F-16Vs Block 70s were delivered recently.
Hoping to see actual Block 70 in the tree soon, both single and twin seaters, considering the twin seater does get the avionic spine with additional CMs. Playing the current 16V has been a little…painful to say the least.

kinda pointless to add honestly as the F16s lack of missiles will always be a problem id much rather work done on the actual domestic fighters china has as filling out taiwan with F16s adds nothing of value
they have received their block 70’s now…
surely we get the new or updated f16 with conformal fuel tanks too.
