I mean you’re not taking more AIM-120s than without the pylon it just would give you the same amount so I don’t see how it would be that bad of a balancing issue if anything this would be a positive thing as maybe it would be the increase in US win rate there looking for since no other top tier US aircraft (other than the strike aircraft) currently have a MAW.

It will give the new F-16C a needed boost (more CMs and MAW) to actually stay at 14.3 and it would give both F-16AMs some actual upsides over the 13.7 F-16C to compensate for their downsides.
Seems like a win-win situation for 3 nations, I don’t see a single truely negative aspect for this change.

Yeah the Norwegian F-16AM is in dire need of this change with its 45 internal CMs.

i will be surprised if this goes through now, belgian and norwegian F16AM’s have been waiting for 1-2 years to equip missiles on PIDS

Well now would be the time as now we have US mains joining in on the bug report and the “new” f-16 has it on dev and it seems they only fix these kinda issues when dev is open.

OOF suggestion? If Gaijin doesn’t fix it this update then it proves that even with more people asking they won’t do it. Maybe when the April stats for the F16 pobit drop then Gaijin will give them the extra AMRAAMS like Gaijin gave F15C GE amber racks later

All of the issues should be reviewed but with the dev server ending soon I doubt at this rate they will be able to review and implement each one.
They for sure reviewed it, they already accepted lesser known bug reports on the pobit. They’re probably silent as they’re prob debating if giving two more aim120C i mean D would be too op.

There is just no way they think 6 AIM-120s plus PIDS+ pylon is OP just look at other aircraft in game. I do agree though that they have probably seen it as it’s been near the top of the hot issues list for a bit.

Is PIDS+ certificated to carry JSOW and 2*JSOW?
Still nothing on this bug report lol.
I have a feeling PIDS will remain beyond useless in WT even after this update.
