technically they are not the same, but i am working on a F-16C/D Block 52+ suggestion
i already made the D version, u can find it on my profile so u could get your job easier looking for and specifictaions etc.
Almost all of these are standard for 52+ export, the only difference I see is IRIS-T integration and maybe APSIS 2
Yes, I noticed that too; it’s pretty standard for the Block 50/52+ variants. The most notable features would be the integration of the IRIS-T missile and the Israeli SPICE bombs.
The comparison is between Peace Xenia IV and Peace Xenia III
Peace Xenia III had
- APG-68(V)9 multimode radar
- Multichannel Information Distribution System (MIDS) Link 16
- helmet-mounted display system (JHMCS)
- expandable image generator
- multifunction color display system
- Modular mission computer
- Multichannel radio system with data entry display
an in the Peace Xenia IV - Fully installed and operational Advanced Self-Protection Integrated System (ASPIS) II
- Digital Video Recorder (DVR) for the Multi-Function Displays (MFDs), the HUD, the Joint Helmet-Mounted Display System (JHMCS), and the targeting pod, with an Advanced Ground-Based Deactivation System
- Capability to display a color moving map for air navigation, or static imagery
- Fully installed and operational JHMCS
- Advanced mechanical integration of the IRIS-T, with the introduction of three additional features
- Advanced capabilities for the AIM-120C-5 AMRAAM missile
- Integration of a reconnaissance pod and additional capabilities for LANTIRN pods
- Link-16 data link for Enhanced Situational Awareness
basically the JHMCS, Link 16 and cockpit got upgraded
This works practically the same way as the AIDEWS found on other F-16s of the same block in other countries.
This has no impact on the game.
This might be useful for a simulator (?), but I don’t play simulator, so I have no idea.
the same as other countries
This would indeed be the most significant aspect, even though other countries use similar missiles, such as the Python IV or AIM-9X, since the IRIS-T would be somewhat superior.
Such as?
a pod
Most of them have Link 16, even the MLUs.
The point is that, while these are additional capabilities that can be useful in real-world scenarios, they don’t differ significantly from what the Block 50/52+ variants offer in other countries; for instance, if you placed Chile’s F-16 Block 50+ alongside this one, you wouldn’t notice any difference other than the weaponry, and the same applies to the other countries.
An example of something that would actually be noticeable in the game, and could truly be considered more unique, would be the Singaporean variant, which features an AESA radar.
Isn’t this a ECM pod? also does it has MAW or any other systems?
yea the Greek Block 52+ also has it, in the 52M it just got upgraded, the how I do not now and probably will never know because HAF never declassify anything
i agree on that most systems wouldn’t be useful in game but still its a different unique variant
thats basically all the F-16s with a F100-PW-229 engine, they are the same plane with different weapons
wouldn’t be like a Pobit ? (also the CAS loadout lacks in comparison with other F-16s)
You cant deny that its not a separate variant of the classic Block 52+, most systems wouldn’t be useful in the game but i would prefer a unique option rather than the Block 52+. (also the CFTS give a advantage over other Block 52 + that do not have it)
I’m not sure if the ALQ-211(V)4 AIDEWS works exactly like a MAW, but based on its description, it’s quite similar; it’s supposed to automatically deploy countermeasures in response to threats. As I understand it, it also disrupts enemy missile emissions, much like some Russian aircraft in the game do, making it harder for them to lock on with a missile. Then again, that’s just my understanding; I’m no expert either.
That antenna is supposed to be the one that detects threats; the Greek guy had it too, didn’t he?
The same applies to Chile; they also call them Block 50M, although I’m not exactly sure what that means. My theory is that the “M” is added precisely because of this system.

This is the description of the AIDEWS.
its 1.30am i cant read that, but if you want to compare more the 52M has
AN/AAR-60 PMAWS
AN/ALR-93(V)1
AN/APG-68(V)9
AN/ALQ-187 I-DIAS
(also its compatible with AGM-84L and AGM-88E AARGM but never got bought )
Bro im sorry but the more stuff you add on the less unique it sounds, all of these are standard features of F-16C-52+, except maybe IRIS-T but that is coutry dependent
This is not a good thing, LANTIRN is pretty old. Poland uses Sniper ER and others use Litening
everything you said has led me to believe it is literally just a block 52+, with rewiring to accept some now armament
This is actually somewhat unique with the new RWR and PMAWS
what else do you want to be unique than the standard Block 52+? It has upgraded electronics, armament and cockpit and the Have Glass III reduce the RCM.
I mean the F-16I is kind of an example because it is a F-16D-52+ modified
If the singapore f16 d plus is added the cas loadout won’t be a issue in war thunder since gaijin allow it “technically it can fit” solutions which is how the Malaysian su 30 can get it kh 38 despite never order one or how the Indonesian apache get ISRAELI spikes. Not to mention the singapore f16 gets asea, python 5, python 4 and Israeli ELTA ECM pod but i pretty sure gaijin would give all those stuff to Greek f16v anyways so yea
It has the same levels of Technical Compatibility as the Sufa. Every vehicles I subject to different considerations however.
Assuming I’m understanding what you’re saying right (you’re English here isn’t the best so I may misunderstand this but), but none of those things can be provided via technical compatibility, only usage and integration. The only Israeli weapons the Greek F-16s can get are the IAI Rampage, and Spice-1000/2000 as it’s something they’ve bought for them.
Yea i guess if it gets added they will get all the weapons the Sufa has.
For me the best I think is for Singapore to became the last subtree for Israel, specially in air it still has 1 more line missing Singapore would be great.
Oh yea mb
Yea but i doubt now they might add any more sg stuff for Israel so probably a greek f16v with probably be the most realistic option (it will have irst-t tho 👀)
Greece has like 10 F-16 possible to be added not adding one in favor of the Sufa is a small sacrifice , and the single seater Greek viper and the Singaporean Sufa would go perfect together
Shouldn’t it be AIM-120D-3 and AIM-9X (Doesn’t matter because the IRIS-T is better) now because of the deal that happened with the USA?
No, until the deal is completed they will not be any Block 52, even today almost all if not all have been upgraded to Vipers
in my Viper suggestion i am mentioning them
