Where?
Mach 1 is not a supercruiser
American players are complaining about why they didn’t get a better attack plane for air operations, and Israeli players are complaining about why they didn’t get a better attack plane for ground operations. gaijin managed to do just that!
More like, American players complaining as to why gaijin added the same aircraft with better engines to a different tech tree and Israeli players complaining as to why gaijin is critically averse to adding any Israeli A2G weapons.
The devs and forum mods have been giving lots of ridiculous answers this update.
Super cruising is going over mach without afterburner.
That being said i don’t think the F-15E can super cruise even with the 229s i think it cruises at .9 mach.
The F-15E’s flight manual has a warning that above 20000 ft a F-15E with the 229 engines can result in non-afterburning supersonic flight, dunno if I can post it here.
Well that hits the definition i guess. I would rather you not post it to be safe though.
I’m just glad F-15I and F-15E are Strike Aircraft and not Jet Fighters. In Ground RB, this is enough of a reason and way to differentiate the F-15C as a fighter and F-15E as a strike aircraft, as it affects Spawn points. Spawning an F-15C would not increase the price of an F-15E and vice versa.
For Israel:
F16C Barak II Jet Fighter
F16D Barak II Jet Fighter
F15I Ra’am Strike Aircraft
USA:
F14B Jet Fighter
F15C Jet Fighter
F16C Jet Fighter
A10C Strike Aircraft
AV8B Strike Aircraft
F111F Strike Aircraft
F15E Strike Aircraft
You get to pick one from the jet fighters and one from the strike aircraft before you have to pay something insane like 1500 spawn points to get in a jet again.
I will take my F-15E with GBU31, AGM65, and only a few AIM120 as a strike jet ingame, and if I need to demolish enemy CAS, I will take my F-15C with 8 AIM-120 and perhaps 2x GBU31 1x GBU8.
Anyways, they’re differentiated just by SP. So this extra differentiation is unnecessary.
The same will be true of F/A-18C and F/A-18D (USMC). F/A-18D was/is operated by Night Attack squadrons with names like VMFA(AW)-224 Bengals. AW stands for All Weather. F/A-18D can be a Strike Aircraft and the lighter F/A-18C can be a Jet Fighter.
A further note: the custom loadouts systems needs work for F-15E. F-15E is really pushing the system’s limits and we’re coming to a place where there is beginning to be inflexibility the way there was before custom loadouts. Specifically, with regards to the CFT pylons, and fielding AIM-120 AMRAAM+GBUs, which so far as I can tell should be possible, but isn’t ingame.
Probably he has 1993 F-15E flight manual, must be allowed to post it here
CFTs are limited to A2A or A2G configuration. So left and right can alternate, but not symmetrical loading.
IRL? Ingame, when A2A AIM120 CFT is selected, it still has all the pylons for the 500lbers on the sides.
Those pylons are permanently installed on the CFT, even in A2A configuration. You can’t hang stores on them though.
I see. Regardless, more flexibility in choosing different GBUs would be better.
You should still be able to mount the right with all A2G and left with 120s of that is what you want to do.
Is it possible to mount AMRAAMs and GBU-12(for example) on same CFT? Or thats restricted?
IRL*
If the US F-15E does not have the F100-PW-220 and the Israeli F-15I lacks the AGM-65 due to game balance, then the Su-34, which is also an attack aircraft, should not have radar-guided anti-aircraft weapons such as the R77/R27ER.
Along with RWR, KH-38MT. 0 sources that it can use MTs
are you sure thats RWR? looks way different from L-150 on Su-25SM3 and other planes.
Then they ought to give the F-15I Spice or Popeye or Mavericks. Cause right now Israel always gets the worst version of US equipment. F-16D barak (heavier, worse engine, no Mavs), the new F-16C (no Mavs), the F-15C Baz (Didn’t have TWS or HMD for the longest time, only very recently changed.) Now the F-15I has absolutely none of the weapons it actually carried in real life.
