This is a good point. Even trying to earn the SP for one fully ladened eagle can be a tall order in this current hellscape of AIM/Clickbait induced blowout matches, nevermind twice with the inflated cost on the latter.
And with Pantsir about… there’s no real guarantee you’ll recoup the SP investment either.
Like i said… i’m really reaching for upsides here haha.

Fair enough, I want the F-15I to get domestic standoff weapons and the F-15E the better engines. I’m sympathetic to both sides so I hope both sides get their thing.

But if the F-15E keeps the better engines I doubt I would even go for it, the F-16C legit seems like better CAS and the F-15C seems better CAP.
in dev it can only carry 4 aams with its guided bomb loads, so 16c will still be the dominant multi role, the f15e will be a better ground cas but be much worse for air to air

F15I definitely feels like a much bigger upgrade for Israel than F15E does for US, though, that’s largely a sympton of Israeli F16’s being the ones with underpowered engines compared to their American counterparts. (So on this basis I fully understand the sentiments of US players here).

agreed, also, im going to rephrase my last statement, yes the 16C will still be a better multirole but its less because it can carry more aams, and more that it can carry about the same as the 15E with better flight characteristics. even if the 15E gets the better engines.

Only possible usage of SDB - hide an normal weapon in them, like make it covered with them.
But sadly gaijin didnt add GBU-15 with cutted wings

For an actual non-cope positive though, Regardless of which F15 you’re in, that GBU-39 load will be amazing fun against the convoys and ground battles in Sim. Super excited for that.
