Did not change anything, you can still notch them and dump them without issue because they still retain the same garbage seeker stats they have always had.
Not justifying just saying but isn’t their a lot of armaments in game a what if or based on claims scenario like the kh38mt, iirc aim120 on a jap or Chinese f16, and then theirs 4.5/5gen gen aircraft that are being planned to be added

That is a capability the plane has , they haven’t bought the weapon or things like that. The plane can shoot it. The ammunition is certified.

the problem is not the missile or its stats that are based on claims. The weapon exists. That’s correct.
But they can toy with the claims around the plane in general and make it correct.
If they want The original F-14A of IRIAF , it gets Sedjil and that’s that. That was the “weird” about it.
They can make it F-14AM , the modernized version, give it Fatter missiles (like 9M or P-5 whatever) , R-73s , take the claim for the radar being upgraded (digitalized , all aspect PD, IFF, target recognission- yes azzpull but that’s the claims) , F90 digitalized , modern PD missile (claims again) make the plane 14.0 or something and let it there play it’s niche … But at least it will have the weapons to do it.

Nope , TCS was after 1983. They had already cut ties with USA by then…
Early Tomcats in general had IRST capability , which sensor AN/ALR-23 was bad and they didn’t use it.
Iran didn’t even buy the sensors.
In theory , they could have AN/ALR-23 in F-14A/Early , since that was the early configuration before they removed it (but it was still capable) because in game technical failures etc. aren’t showcased. And even a “bad performance” sensor , especially IRST for that plane , is valuable.
They should make the IRIAF an F-14AM. Buff it a bit. Start from 13.7 and if it’s too much for any reason get it 14.0 .
But as it is now they’ve just killed it …if anything to boost 14D’s sales. There is no other reason .

Now F-14A got a AIM-9L. I think its should remove a “early” and remodel by give it a eraly TCS that use in 80s or IRST pod. that wolud be cool!!!

And well the main problem that make the F-14D cant sale very well was SU-30 premuim are on sale as the same time, didn’t recive 7P and badly make it to be a wose premium but not in TT. And now they move the IRIAF to 13.7 but this plane are suck then SU-30 every way (F90 are very overpower but ok that are one thing make it good). So bad they care only about wallet but didn’t care about how balanced work.
Part of me wishes TCS or IRST could be added as like a modification. I know in the past, back before stock countermeasures were a thing, some aircraft that had an external bolt-on countermeasures system (like the AN/ALE-40(V) on the F-5Es and F-20A, and AN/ALE-40(N) on the F-5As and F-104s) wouldn’t have that part on the model until the flares/chaff modification was researched and installed. Then you could uninstall said modification, which would remove the dispensers from the aircraft model.
