Without the AIM-9M and AIM-120,even none aim7p. I’m guessing the F-14D’s BR might be 13.3? A brand new joker?
@Stona_WT with the announcement of the new F-14, if its missing 7p 9m and possibly no hints at improved 54C phoenix, I’m guessing theres a tech tree variant?

So, we got an F-14B with all-aspect radar and IRST, nice. Didn’t want to buy it anyways, but that’s a good laugh i got out of it.

I don’t know what just happened here—the F-14B should already be equipped with the AIM-9M. Apparently, “realism” is important to Gaijin, but as we can see, they only apply that principle when it suits them :(
Even at BR 13.0, it’ll be average in realistic battles, but if it ends up at BR 13.3 with that loadout, it looks downright tragicomic next to a premium SU-30 xD
And most importantly, I assume there will also be a TT version available to players? Or is it just a version hidden behind a paywall?

THEY have documents stating it can use Aim-7P. The have the manuals. It’s over.

It’s not that it can’t use it, it can use it. It just can’t use datalink of the missile.
Though, what Ron said about iog still being active, that would be nice
